Mosley- BALCO Mosley was already shopworn and couldn't win a fight after being on the juice. The win was meaningless.

Ortiz - LOL a sucker punch to win? Ortiz was a basket case too. Meaningless.

    Cotto- OK good win.

    Canelo- Weight drained and green.

Maidana- lost one, won one, after all the stipulations to guarantee a win and paying off the NSAC and judges.

Pacquaio- waited 6 years for Pac to go through wars, and lose a couple. Plus Pac was fighting with one arm.

Gayweather is all smoke and mirrors, his career is a joke.

Dog stop, manny did not beat Floyd in the eyes of experts....Manny also had a hand in why they didn’t fight years before and Floyd who did you need Floyd to beat? Margarito? Clottey? Cmon now

Mosley-WBA WW CHAMP P4P#3 LIVE DOG GOOD WIN

        Ortiz-WBC WW CHAMP SUCKER PUNCHED

        Cotto-WBA 154 CHAMP PAST PRIME

        Canelo-WBC,WBA,RING 154 CHAMP P4P#9 WASNT READY YOUNG

Maidana-WBA 147 CHAMP DECENT GAME GUY

        Pacquaio-WBO 147 CHAMP P4P#2 FOUGHT INJURED

Looks good on paper. If youre a casual fan. Like most sports writers are. Very few are Die Hard fans and follow it religiously. They report what they hear. They dont get into the guy hes fighting is shot. Paper champ. Or any reason. They go with the hype and build up of the promotional team. And they are reporters. They have to dlck ride all champs until they are not worth the story. Because as soon as they talk down on a champ...no more interviews no more views less followers online less money for them. I get it. But a lot of these casual and bandwagon riders dont.

lol i agreed with you but i got the Mosley over Cotto. Cotto imo should have retired after Marg. He wasn't the same but got his revenge. Sweet. Also Floyd team saw this and offered the fight...then rather than years ago. Plus probably offered him some more fights if he did take the fight.
I picked Mosley because hes really always been a live dog. Just never knew with him. He looked good then bad. Win some lose some but always game. And he did give Floyd some hell in that fight.

Floyd is one of the best fighters ever and that’s indisputable
Ok and that is cool surface fluff, but if you can't site one prime, all time great fighter that he beat, and you want to create these type of threads that's specifically designed to put Floyd on a pedestal, then don't get mad when cats start digging below the surface of just him beating a bunch of beltholders, when we know boxing today can have 3 or 4 beltholders per division, with God knows how many alphabet organizations, and then on top of that, the best guys Floyd dragged the fights out so long, they weren't even premium matchups anymore

              last decade

              floyd, pacquiao, donaire

floyd is the stat king, but he'll always have one big stain on his legacy because didn't rise up to the occasion when the world demanded he fight a prime pacman.

that's why to many, pacman is the people's champ. pfp, at his size and hgt, what he did was like no other.
i put donaire close to that level too.

Floyd has never fought for a vacant world title, he beat the title holder in every contest.

thats 2 for Manny all the others were vacant title wins

Can anyone add any other boxers?
When you put them like that, canelo’s list might be more impressive than floyd’s considering it includes a 20lb jump in weight and champions in 3 divisions.

Canelos is way better . Not to mention Canelo has fought 25 times in the decade itself. More than double the amount of times Floyd has fought. If you take away MMA and Kick boxer 16 more fights to be exact
