. When Floyd was in his prime he coulnt do it. It was the Manny Show. lol Not its the Canelo show.
Canelo has done more than Floyd can dream of doing in the ring.

Pacquiao will always be in Mayweathers shadow. You Pac fans know it too, the saltiness shines through in every bitter post about Mayweather.

            " 12 time world champion "...

            " 8 weight classes "...

            1) bullshlt... Pac did not win 12 world titles, he won 9

            2) bullshlt... Pac is not a genuine 8-division champion... he did not win a title at 126 or 140... and his title at 154 is FAKE

            3) who fkn cares ? ... the number of divisions that you represented is not criteria for greatness... there are fighters greater than Pacquiao who only ever fought in 1 division

who did you beat, with consideration given to when/how... ?

there is also some (lesser) consideration given to losses

Pacquiao very rarely fought the best... above 130, Pac only ever fought the best once... AND HE LOST!

if Pacquiao really is a 12 time world champion in 8 world classes, and we all know that aint true... then Mayweather beat a fighter who was a 12 time world champion in 8 weight classes, something Pacquiao never did

Pacquiao is regarded by many boxing historians as one of the greatest professional boxers of all time.
He is the only eight-division world champion in the history of boxing, having won twelve major world titles, as well as being the first boxer to win the lineal championship in five different weight classes.

joe calzaghe beat all washed up or clearly past it greats

rocky marciano beat all past prime hall of famers and many closer to 40 than 30

so whats your point? you can only fight whose in your era
So again, when a shameless Floyd Boy, who is almost 80,000 posts deep defending Floyd, creates yet another one of these blatant Floyd bootlicking threads, and all of you are quickly reminded that beating paper champs can be totally deceiving in this day and age of boxing, please, don't get your panties in a bunch when it gets dissected six ways to Sunday with facts you just can't readily excuse away, or say some crap about not knowing anything about boxing, or some regurgitated line you heard Floyd or Roger say.

Ever notice only Floyd they feel a need to do this for. Nobody feels a need to create these types of threads for Marciano, or JC Chavez, or Ward. Only Floyd. Why? Because obviously these Floyd Boys can't settle for, or accept how little respect a large percentage of hardcore fight fans have for his resume, and his politricks. The need to overexaggerate it guys like Larry need like they need air to breathe.

Only when people diminish his career. Despite the people who hate on him. Manny is rising as one of the greatest yes. But his story isnt over yet. Which is even more amazing. Not only is he looked at as on of the best ever. He is rising to the spot of The Greatest of all time. Thats not nuthuggin either. thats facts and being talked about. Even critical Teddy Atlas has said that!
