You put Crawford in there with Shawn Porter in NY, CA or NV, it's going to sell out. Not because of Crawford, because of Showtime (Shawn), especially off his performance against Spence. Then Crawford gets exposed to a larger audience that wants to come see him fight. Now of course, I think Shawn Porter bullies the hell out of him and goes to a contested SD (which will cause people to say Crawford was 'exposed'), but then we at least know for sure whether people's eyes are lying to them about Crawford, like Spence said.

The other thing to consider: nobody's going to fly to Omaha, so you're only getting local people. People flew to NV and NY to see UK guys come over and fight.

At some point we need to stop blaming the venue and come to grips with the fact that Terence Crawford is an 'eye test' fighter, is NOT P4P anything, hasn't been tested and isn't a draw. I mean that's fine - he can keep collecting his guaranteed 3-5 million for sparking out the C and B classes. More power to him.
    My
Whole point is as that the majority of sports fans don’t travel to see sports on the USA. If you have fights in the home
Territories then you appeal to the locals to come out and support their own. Of course this means a robust promotional campaign and that’s what Arum doesn’t do because he got used to HBO doing all his promotion for him

Problem is they haven’t even sold half of msg for Crawford’s fight....it’s hard to argue with reality

Usyk sold over 13k in Chicago...AJ sold over 20k in NYC...Andrade sold over 7k in Rhode Island and 5k in NYC and Boston...Haney sold over 5k in NYC and Baltimore...KSI and Logan Paul sold over 15k in LA...Rungvisai and Estrada sold over 8k in LA...

And this is all by a foreign promoter.

        Crawford should sell -- period.

        It's Bob's fault.

Crawford himself chose to resign with Bob last year. If youre going to play that game, then blame Crawford not Bob. He could've signed anywhere.

Start making more competitive fights, Bob. That should help.

Save the MSGs and the Vegas fights for the super fights. Boxing in the USA has to go back to the local level and grow fan bases. NY sports fans have no attachment to Crawford especially when he is fighting a no name.
To much media in NY this week for the Heisman trophy to put him in Omaha. And Loma's next opponent is on the undercard so they have to have it in NY this weekend.

Make good super fights then you’ll fill seats , can’t expect to sell tickets with an unknown opponent . Plus Crawford is only know to Omaha and the boxing community . That shows you bob you suck at making a good fighter a superstar and blowing him up . Stop crying and making excuses .

Sounds like your problem as a promoter not boxings problem. No one wants to see the match ups you set up. haymon pbc fights dont have the same troubles.

maybe you should wait and see what the gate is after the fight. 1 yr ago there were plenty of tickets left for Canelo vs fielding on the day of. Next thing you know, Oscar is announcing a sell out. This fight won't sell out but I'm sure there will be a good sized crowd at the garden.
