Should have done your best to get training on time.

Ruiz has five kids and had a heritage of proud and disciplined Mexican fighters to inspire him. He has to earn his way back to a title shot. Guaranteed they put him in with Baby Miller next year.

all he had to do was dedicate a few months for the rematch and he could've cemented his place in boxing history and set his family up financially for generations. Does he even realize how prestigious holding all those HW titles were? He'll never taste that level of success again.

Eh. As usual, I feel in the minority on here. When Ruiz beat Joshua, I was sure Joshua would bounce back. One bad night did not stop a talent from improving. I do not think Wilder or Fury will stay undefeated if they keep fighting, and when they do eventually lose I will not count them out.

I feel the same way on a slightly sliding scale (see what I did there??) for Ruiz. He is not a threat for "elite" HW, but this man has skills. He is a solid "B" level talent who has proven he can beat down "A" level talent on a good night. I think he will be able to survive this. I would really like to see an Ortiz/Ruiz fight. Ortiz floated that "all Hispanic" unification match if they both won, and I really think a crossroads fight with career earnings on the line would be a TON OF FUN.(AGAIN?? DID YA SEE??) I think a rematch with Parker after their disputed fight would be interesting. Throw him in with these up and comers like DuBois, Joyce or Hunter and lets see what all their mettle is against a large name (YA SEE??? YA SEE???).

There is plenty of action out there for a former champion like Ruiz. He could still be a central player in a fairly deep if not spectacular HW era.

What sucks is, it’s much harder to reach the top than it is to stay there. Andy had the opportunity of a lifetime. He may never get there again.

If I were Joshua, I wouldn't fight Ruiz again. Ruiz had his chance, time for Joshua to move on.

"I know I failed them, but I promise you that "WE" will do better and "WE" will win."

Hey Andy!! How about "I" will do better and "I" will win!!!
