It’s heavyweights, you can’t fight the same all the time at that division or you’ll be found out sooner than later!
Yes and Wladdy was a glass jawed ***go+ too. Lewis was knocked out twice and came back to knock out both the guys that knocked him. He didn't run to a decision against McCall and Rahman

Wilder been around twice as long in the game and been fighting graveyard dug up’s like Ortiz in his 41st fight and you think AJ’s the disgrace! Wilder should already be wearing a big fat L on his record for being outboxed himself. Laughable you think Wilder is better for the sport.

Come on man, you get the call to unify the titles and be one of few men in history do it and you start arguing over whether your career high pay day is enough?! Nah, someone advised him not too, simple as that. It’s gonna prove to be a very bad judgement, AJ is getting better and maturing as a boxer and that’s bad news for Wilder.

I agree, he lost to Fury but the difference is he fought him and most likely he will fight him again in February while Joshua has his sight on a Cruiserweight in Usyk, we all know Usyk isn't HW "tested" yet. Why is he always ducking the top 2?

2020 would be about the old excuse of fulfilling mandatory. WBO and IBF. whole year would be about back and forth banter between Hearn and Wilder .

You have advantages in height, reach and mobility. Your opponent has faster hands and slower feet and has beaten you in your last fight.
              Do you
              a) use your physical advantages?
              or
              b) make it a phone booth fight?

How many people said Joshua shouldn't take the rematch? Where was this criticism for Kovalev in the Alvarez rematch?

Wilder can punch but no one's taking boxing lessons from him. If Joshua's such a ***** maybe he won't start taking about "the head is not meant to be hit in the first place" next time he's asked about fighting him.

              One name etc, etc.

It's a shame we'll never get Joshua-Wilder because Fury beats Wilder in Feb.

I never said Wilder made the right decision in my post,or anywhere. I was merely pointing out that Wilder admitting there was an offer isn't a revelation.

But now that I think about it I realized I think you are wrong & Wilder will end up making far more money now than he would've had he signed the Dazn contract which would've also been disloyal to his team. Wilder reportedly was offered UP TO 100 mil for a multiple fight exclusive Dazn Deal, well in his last 2 fights hes probably cleared 40 to 50 million because his ppv numbers warent too shabby at 70$ a pop & he leveraged the Dazn deal to his advantage by making Sho overpay

Hes now able to earn probably another 20-30 mil vs Fury & he'll be in line to earn potentially up to the 70 mil AJ got vs Ruiz in this last fight if the Saudis decide to throw mega bucks at the unification let alone everyone else who'll compete for the 1st 4 belt hw unification fight with so much hype in ages.

That would mean Wilder can potentially pocket up to 30-50% more over 4 fights than he would've by signing away his career control to Dazn & he now likely will have a better resume by rejecting Dazn than he would've had he accepted.

Personally I thought he was on his bike as Ruiz could only throw his deadly combinations with a stationary target. Ruiz feet are as slow as hell. There was no other game plan that would have guaranteed him the win.

Nobody likes getting hit with combinations. He hit him and moved. He could have fought another 10 rounds. There was no survival in that ring. It was easy and the scorecards confirms that

Imagine the old great heavyweight boxers doing that.. it wouldn't happen, when lennox got knocked out by rahman he didn't come back to win on points..

I guess they just don't make boxers like they used and you guys seem to be okay with that.
Not true watch Lewis vs Tua, Lewis did the same thing against the shorter stockier Tua, Ruiz was in even worse shape than Tua was.

Sadly the fame and fast money went to Ruiz's head. He will fight on but now after this humiliating loss he will have to get back to the end of the line and beat a few ranked contenders to get a decent money title shot.
