I dont care how bad or good Wilders numbers are. The only reason we really look at them is because Wilder, his team and his fans were trying to push the narrative that Wilder is running level with the likes of Anthony Joshua which would prove and justify Wilders massive demands to face Joshua and his reasons for turning down a Joshua fight over and over again.

Also we like to remind these Wilder fans that they have heavily criticized other fighters for doing much better numbers and claiming those fights bombed and were an embarrassment but are now trying to justify even lower numbers for Wilder and hoping people forget all the mud slinging they done about other fighters.

Its not us, the so called "Haters" that seem to care so much and are pocket watching. We are just looking forward for confirmation to all this "WILDER IS THE FACE OF BOXING" "WILDER IS BOXINGS A SIDE" stuff that the numbers NEVER seem to back up at all.

I want to see all boxing events do well. I do NOT get boxing "fans" cheering for events to bomb or twisting things to make it look that way in the comment sections. I get cheering for someone you do not respect or like to lose, no sweat there. But events like this turning profits promote the sport and encourage other boxers and promotions to take risks.

I disagree with all saying the promotions and extra fees made this take a loss. This is purely the gate, which at least broke even in the initial costs of the fight. I am willing to wager the event actually showed a nice profit by the time comps and all the extra money was spent in Las Vegas. Next there are the concessions, parking revenue, and advertisement tie ins that bring money into the event to offset the promotional and other costs. There is a reason why Vegas is such a great spot to do a fight like this- they know how to squeeze out money from a freaking stone. Wilder is obviously not the total "A" side yet otherwise the seats would have been full. He has room to grow. But he is doing fine. He and Ortiz earned some nice coin off this and I am sure everyone who invested in this did as well. How much profit? I have zero idea. But if we see Wilder in other PPV events - not including Fury or a unification match which would sell themselves- that will show more than anything how well this did. His team will only do more PPV events if there is money in it.

Still trying to figure out how he lost out when the bulk of that deal was for fighting AJ which he can't do until after this weekend. Hoe much did he lose?

Keep busy? When is wilder going to get busy.

He still hasnt beat a world champion apart from stiverne who had a vacant belt.

These Deontards are clowns, now they spreading stories of AJ turning down 100 mil to fight on showtime in 2018 and him vowing to block Wilder from unification because he is fighting Ruiz again in 2020.

If it''s not that they're saying "Why you talking about money it's not like we've been consistently calling every offer to Wilder a low ball and saying the fight does may pac number"

                    Yes, exactly this.

If we all remind ourselves that Wilder snubbed £100m/$120m from DAZN to fight Breazeale and then Joshua twice guaranteed, regardless of if he lost to Breazeale.

Wilder had 2 opportunities for "One Champion, One Face, One Name".

Instead, made £9.5m/$12.4 fighting Breazeale, then approximately £15.2m/$20m fighting Ortiz...so his next fight MUST earn him £75.3m/$98.8m to make it the right decision.

What a bad bad business decision.

275K is solid, but Spence-Porter did 300-350K. Spence is a bigger draw than Wilder.
