So industry sources tell Donovan, who I have no clue who he is, 275 ppv sales while industry sources tell Glaser 150k ppvs but i really don't know who he is either? then my financial calculator says 570 per ticket avg on 7400 ticket sales but floor tickets were being cut down to 500. none of the math makes sense. spin doctors all over the place. the event flopped. false numbers are being spread to cause debating factions.

I've always wondered what the big deal was, with reporting the live gate money. The REAL money is in the pay per view amount. The tickets sold at the actual event is pocket change compared to the dozens of millions earned from the PPV purchases.

And to think Wilder turned down $100m from DAZN just because he didn’t know what the other guy was earning is crazy. Since when do people know how much other people are earning? Can you imagine turning down a job because they didn’t tell you how much people in your department will be taking home?

i believe they are counting the rebuys from haymon as tickets sold which is hilarious but lets be generous/delusional and say that it did 4 million. that plus the 15 million in ppv revenue=19 million. still 8 million dollar loss! boxing genius! oh and this doesnt take into account any advertising that they did for the fight or was that free

Ahhh well these numbers are much better than the early reports and I don't suppose they're terrible! I think it would be a little foolish to overlook the fact the shows probably lost millions of dollars but Haymon has deep pockets and if he doesn't mind, why should we care

The MGM Grand Arena holds 16,800 seats. This fight sold less than half and most of those seats were discounted. Do the math. This fight did not sell over 275k PPV hahaha not even close
