I just finished re-watching the fight. I had Ortiz winning every round including the 7th right up until the fatal blow. It's crazy how in a split second everything changed with one punch.

Wilder is not capable of being WBC champion

We all knew the result of this bout before it began. Knoknout. By Wilder. Of thick, heavy old Ortiz, shorter guy with smaller reach. But Cuban outboxed him untill got caught! We saw knoknout, but did we saw boxing in this fight, by a champion? Wilder was waiting and losing rounds. True championship strategy for underdog, but not for the domestic star. After this, he must meet Fury and win most of rounds, doesn't matter how long fight will continue. Or we will admit that Wilder is hand-made champion not capable to wear WBC belt!

Ortiz was in the best shape of his life and putting on a clinic until he got caught again. I had him winning every round. Heartbreaking loss for King Kong. Kenny Bayless's ten count seemed fast.

I still think Ortiz beats every other heavyweight out there.

Right. I predicted a KO by Wilder because I was in the thought that he only needs one good shot. Still I was wasent so staunch watching it, looked like he could run out of time. But sure enough the KO came that fast and with one single shot. Still Wilder being so cautious makes me nervous. I like him better when he’s trying for the KO instead of being behind on the cards though. But maybe this is him developing as a better fighter.

Wilder's power has to really be amazing. This single punch was like a train hitting Ortiz's head.

The odd fact is that Wilder almost seemed clueless for the first five rounds, then started connecting in round 6 and then...****...1 punch ko.

            Incredible.

The punch that knocked out ortiz....
wilder landed many of those to a worse version of ortiz, even after landing multiple rabbit punches...and ortiz could take them better than this one, he could get back up. That makes me think ortiz was told to take a dive in that particular round.

Ortiz was boxing around wilder with ease, it shocked me how easy it was for him...it's as if he was told 'don't worry, wilder won't do anything to you in those rounds, he will make you look good so you can make a case for being this superior boxer..and then you let him land, you go down and stay down' etc.

Yet again a fix like the Fury fight.

I swear, i'm not bitter about the result. I fully expected wilder to win by ko, i just wanted it to be a proper fight, not a choreographed bs fight where you can tell they're just play acting until the big ko where ortiz is told to stay down so they can once again hype Wilder's power.
in the real fight, the first ortiz fight..ortiz was getting back up and at every moment of the fight wilder could still put hands on ortiz.

Such a load, you’ve given yourself away. I love choreographed fights where the recipient’s eyes roll into the back of their heads like Linda Blair from the Exorcist. GTFOH

Best current show reel in boxing for Wilder who is possibly the worst HW world champ in history. Honestly, he looked terrible. That one punch power is going to end his career, he lost every round, cos now he is just sitting back and waiting to unleash and he is just not a good boxer...Luis is super slow and predictable, but he can box and that gave Wilder problems.

It’s embarrassing to watch this guy get hyped and hyped and stats like the best KO ratio of all time, anyone can do that if they fight tomato cans for 38 fights, he fights one guy, Fury and he basically he loses and needs the men in the background to fudge him the win. Mike Tyson must be watching and wishing he could be active and get inside the guy and smash him to bits.

Then to here him say ‘I am specialist on my back feet’ wtf the guy trips over his own feet going backwards. Then he says ‘Luis one of the best in the world’, on what evidence? The only story he can push is he had been ducked, but seriously he won nothing, he’s a tomato can. I can’t wait to see him get iced and I will keep watching him until it happens on bit ******* (cos he ain’t getting a dollar from me).
