It's amazing to think that anyone would be considered a rival to Wilder for one-punch power.

There is nothing to suggest Parker(overrated and has not beat a top 20 without probs) Ruiz or Kownacki have better chins then Ortiz. Also all three are much easier to hit ESP Kownacki. Ruiz and Kownacki are made to order for Wilder, and Parker don't have the power or defense, skills to give him the same probs as Ortiz imo. Wilder's flaws make it possible, but he is better then people think ESP at keeping his range. Also none of those are southpaws or 6-9 swithhitters, and Wilder's jab is really gotten pretty good vs orthodox fighters.

Few punchers are in the same conversation. Looks like Deontay really doesn’t care about winning rounds. He can actually afford to do that, which is scary. Wilder is arguably the best right now, and not because he beat Ortiz. He’s just so powerful that, unless you can knock him out, you’re likely to get KTFO yourself.
I think with 3 out of 4 of his last opponents being southpaws or 6-9 switchhitters its been really tough to land his jab. That jab is so important for a big right hand puncher. The right hand is hardest to land because its the furthest punch from your opponent, and having a jab to cover it is very important. Yea his power is unreal, and that shot vs Ortiz landed on the forehead and still blew him out. Fury with his skills will be very tough, but I like Wilder BIG over Ruiz. AJ has the power, and if Wilder gets inside with him it could be trouble. That being said I don't think AJ chin is very good, and I also think he is not real strong mentally. I think Wilder beats both although in a weird way I think Fury would have more probs with AJ if he can beat Ruiz which is no given.

Now that's something we can agree on.

I still see it as shavers 1, lyle 2 foreman 3, because of what foreman did in the modern era he showed its not just some nostalgic bs , that being said Wilder is in the same league.

Tyson woukld have a simlar KO record or % so would foreman etc if transplanted in time to this era, u cant go by % or records

You have to go by evidence.

Lyle backing up the killer that is Foreman, and the fact he used to punch at close range for safety because he could still generate KO force even up close. (watch morrison run the whole time)

Every single person saying shavers hit hardest.

Every single person from the 90's saying foreman hit them the hardest and everyone from the 80's saying he hit them 2nd hardest hardest or 3rd hardest depending on if they fought the other 2.

They have little reason to lie and all their stories were the same.

You can see teh results too which can be misleading but with a few ideas about the difference between power and effectiveness u can see why Tyson isnt the hardest hitter and shavers is depsite Tyson being way more impressive at KO's, so with an educated idea of power you can see 1st hand the results although its not exactly concrete but you can tell somewhat, by watching

Ruiz has some good skills, power, chin, heart and, surprisingly, speed. I think he has a good shot versus Wilder and, obviously, AJ. Fury probably takes him. It would be interesting to see Deontay versus Joshua. Actually, I’d like to see any of those matchups.

Let's agree to disagree. Kownacki hasn't been rocked yet, let alone knocked down and I doubt he would be down after this hit. Ruiz and Parker IMO would get up much quicker than Ortiz after this Wilder's right.
I am not arguing who is easier to hit, mind you. I am arguing who has a better chin than Ortiz and wouldn't be knocked out flat and senseless like Ortiz was.

I think Ruiz style is as close to perfect for Wilder as you can get with Wilder flaws. I think Ruiz style is MADE for Fury, and don't think he wins one out of ten. Still interested in seeing them because their the top guys. AJ I believe is the harder fight IF he can show he has the mental strength and confidence to overcome his loss. I like both over AJ, but I think their good fights if he can overcome Ruiz.

Hes not knocked out a single fighter above C level (who isnt around 40 years old). Not hard to look great knocking out walking punch bags.
