AJ does not have a contract with DAZN. He is contracted exclusively to Matchroom, aka Eddie Hearn. So DAZN don't pay AJ anything, they pay Eddie, and AJ's cut is then determined by the terms of his Matchroom contract, which is a private and confidential agreement between Hearn and AJ.
Wilder specifically said that he would not take part in any negotiations involving Eddie Hearn. That's why John Skipper decided to meet with him and his team to negotiate a deal between Wilder and DAZN, without Hearn being involved in any way.
For Al Haymon to then turn around and start asking Skipper about Hearn's business with AJ and DAZN, without Eddie even being present, was a none starter.
Hearn said he didn't believe that Wilder's team ever had any intention of fighting AJ or anybody else on DAZN. They only turned up to fish for information about how much money AJ was getting from Matchroom.
