Why should somebody need to build a relationship with a professional fighter in order to offer him an enormous sum of money to get in a ring and fight?

It's just more dumbass lying fraud talk from the biggest fraud in boxing, Wilder. Building relationships is code for rigging an inside job where nobody gets hurt and nobody's value goes down.

Wilder and Haymon won't fight Joshua until they get a rigged fight set. Thats what building a relationship is.

Ali and Frazier and Foreman and Liston didn't build no Fn relationship.

Wilder is such a freaking coward fraud it's unbelievable. How many idiots out there actually for this lying BS?

True.. you're correct. I was referring to the lockdown contract for multiple fights.. which of course is what they should do as a company, maybe this opens up the door for a 1 off fight or a cross promotion battle.

I dont need THEM to say it outright. I have reading comprehension..lol. I was simply referring to the fact they claimed the deal wasnt that good and DAZN flubbed negotiations the first time, which they're admitting they did, in not building the proper relationships before hand and essentially thinking all they needed to do was offer big money.

Kudos to DAZN, not many companies will admit their mistakes, especially in boxing, and attempt to rectify the situation later. Says alot about the character of the guys running the show at DAZN.. most people dont have that kind of self awareness.

What happened behind the scenes was that Wilder wanted to know what AJ would get(to gauge the split amount) but DAZN refused to say, I think Wilder took that as a sign of favoritism and changed his mind about the deal.

What split? There is no split. DAZN offered Wilder a set amount to take some fights. There is no split. They offer Wilder what they want and they offer Joshua what they want. There is no pot to split.

Hey if wilder can make more money without Joshua or DAZN good on him. Not that I see how based on what wilders been earning so far. But real fighters would want to take on Anthony Joshua not find 100 reasons not to.

The logic here seems to be that he's right to turn down huge money. And the proof is that Joshua is earning huge money.

Are we forgetting that Wilder isn't earning at those kind of levels?

It's a uniquely Joshua phenomenon in the heavies. Even if he gets beaten and his earning capacity goes down - it's still not improving Wilder's station. He's not winning out of this.

Fight Joshua for big money. Or fight someone else for less. Same equation as it always was.

Screw loyalty, dishonesty, relationships or whatever. You either want to fight the guy or you don't. The biggest payday of your career shouldn't be a stumbling block.

That's just dumb he shouldn't even have a belt after the Fury fight so he would have the only thing he has going for him bc of corruption, how long will that last ? He would be on his last leg and looking for that 12.5 million Hearn originally offered him You know who think declining 120 million is good besides fanboys ? DUMB PEOPLE. lol

                    what nonsense

the " pot "... is the net revenue generated by the event in question

a certain fanbase used to scoff at flat-fee offers

not one of them I hope... ?
