I love all the GGG amatuer and sparring stories as if they in any way equate to his legacy on the professional level. Some fans are as delusional as Froch.

As a Canadian I can admire that he travelled here to beat our overhyped Bute like a drum. It’s a boxers prerogative to predict victories in mythical matchups. I agree, Froch could put sum damage on a prime ggg even, but would lose. Nelos defence makes him look bad while his flashy fast combos outshine him at the same time. Still I could see Froch survive to lose wide enough on the cards. Nelo is the Pope.Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 11-17-2019, 10:27 AM.Comment

Yes Carl, the older you get the better you were .. . .
He always seemed to have a chip in his shoulder but what an even more salty, bitter pr*ck froch has become!
Too bad really as he was a tough, rough fighter who had a good run at 168. However that loss to Ward really messed him up. I've just rewatched that fight and, apart from Froch going the distance, it wasn't even close. Just like with kovalev, you had the so-called "tough guy" looking to the ref for help! In the immediate aftermath Froch was quite gracious admitting he lost but seemed to get increasingly bitter as time passed.
Froch's size and strength would keep him competitive against both canelo and GGG but I can't see him beating either of them.Comment
