He couldn't even do a job on Andre Didrell. Froch should have lost that fight.

observations:
Golovkin needed a catchweight to fight Steve Rolls, and has never considered 168... despite having potential opponents who are a LOT easier than Carl Froch
every opponent hits Golovkin with their best shot
Golovkin was timid/unassertive with Canelo/Jacobs
Froch was a BIG super-middleweight, and Golovkin is NOT Andre Ward lol
Froch was a dog
IF, Golovkin actually took that fight... and that is a big 'IF' imo... I think he would go life-n-death with Froch and probably lose
based on his step-up fights to date with Jacobs Canelo and Derevyanchenko... there is nothing to indicate that Couldakin, Wouldakin, Shouldakin... could have beaten Froch
I would back the brit in that matchupComment

I agree.
Froch you had tremendous heart with limited skills. Canelo and Triple G would have beat you either by decision or KO with ease. Both guys have proven chins and have better all around skills than you. Even at 168, there is no version of Carl Froch that could beat Canelo or Triple G.
I totally agree.Comment

I agree with Froch here. Whereas both Golovkin and Alvarez are likely too durable to have been stopped, Carl was very big and strong, and would have outboxed both on the outside quite easily in my opinion. If things had of got rough though, Froch would have been too tough for both.Comment

Fitch thinks h ed beat anyone. Thought he'd beat ward im sure he did. So what happened there? Thought he'd beat jc. Jc wouldn't give you opportunity to fight him. But im.sure Ggg would. But didn't take fightComment

Froch was offered GGG many times, would have broken his Wembley attendance vs Groves, but even that couldn’t get him to agree to fight GGG, too risky for him
Maybe against Canelo at the time he would have been too big and strong as Canelo was fighting small guys on purposeComment
