We all know ginger boy has no chance against slick African American boxers, he couldn't land 2 clean punches on mayweather lol...oh yea watch out for the fan boys now...canelo wasn't the same fighter back then, he has more experience now bla bla bla

We sit down and talk about these things and I have to keep my word - and I have to stick to my conviction that I made Sept. 21, 2017 [to retire]. I feel like I'm gonna be a better asset to the sport of boxing, my family, my church..... all the things that I'm doing as a retired fighter than I would be if I came back."

Translation: "Give me 50-50 and I'll fight Canelo"!...

I feel for the guy. It's the trap we all have. Money doesn't automatically come with happiness and security and safety from fear and depression and all that stuff we all want. However, faith in God does.
... please don't bring "faith in God" into this one... the same S.O.G. nearly retired twice beforehand...

... and, now, tbh: the only reason Canelo vs Dre doesn't happen is because Canelo would be afraid to take it...

Stop acting like Canelo had already offered you the fight, no one was asking for this fight other than the media cabal!

This guy should release a Bluray of his fight highlights titled Clinching: Greatest hits. He would make a fortune, he can market it as the cure to insomnia..

Ward won't come back because even though he would outbox Canelo, he can't KO/TKO Canelo, which means he'll get robbed on the scorecards.

Ward's best chance would be if he managed to cut Canelo bad and then got a doctor stoppage, which is much easier said than done.

Ward will not accept a bribe to take a dive for Canelo and he can knock out CAnelo.
