its funny how all the boxers ppl claimed were so boring are now being begged to return. cant make this sht up. if ward was still active I'll pick him to school canelo easily. but a 3 year layoff is too much. im glad he'll stay retired. canelo vs beterbiev should be nextComment

Inside the ring, its a sport. Outside the ring, it's life and faith. If a lot of fighters had faith, they would not have had to turn to drugs and alcohol for comfort when the fame and money diminishes. They destroy their lives and legacies. Oscar De La Hoya is a case in point. It's better to become a positive example than a cautionary tale.Comment

slappin' soggy sustained injuries in the 2nd fight with kovalev that will keep him out of the ring and behind the mike for the rest of his lifeComment

Like Canelo would even fight Ward
It’s one thing fighting a faded Kovalev that had no rest between fights but there would be no way of knowing if Ward would come back looking great or not
Canelo wouldn’t take that chance, he needs to know he has clear advantages real like signs of fading, weight clauses etc.Comment

Ward was better in every category, stop it. There's a reason GGG didn't even think twice and immediately turned down the idea of fighting him at 168. Yes, the same GGG that Canelo was and is still afraid of, the one who Canelo avoided for years until he showed signs of slowing down but still lost against... Prime Ward makes Canelo look like an amateur again EASILY.Comment

Ward has nothing to proof anymore, and I think he will beat canelo very easily like floyd did. Canelo would be a fool to call ward out of retirement, who has no interest in staying as an active boxer, and could school canelo hard and make him look silly, diminishing his star power. It would be a dumb move on canelo's part, and he cannot use the weight excuse after losing as he just competed at LHW.Comment

Ward knows his entire career is a farce.
i've never seen a fighter that relies on fouls as his main techniques like this fraud.
he knows with Canelo, the refs and judges wouldn't be on his side. the gig would be up. it's over.
he's younger than GGG and Kovalev, yet he's going to leave 20 million on the table. he is a fraud.Comment
