    Andre Ward (32-0, 16 KOs), 35-years-old, has no desire to come out of retirement for a potential mega-bout with Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez. Ward, a former unified super middleweight and light heavyweight world champion, retired from the sport in September of 2017. He last saw action in that same year, when he stopped Sergey Kovalev in the eight round to retain the WBA, IBF, WBO light heavyweight titles.

        We all know ginger boy has no chance against slick African American boxers, he couldn't land 2 clean punches on mayweather lol...oh yea watch out for the fan boys now...canelo wasn't the same fighter back then, he has more experience now bla bla bla

            Ward: "But don't get me wrong. I'm a fighter at heart. It's not hard to talk me into a fight. It's actually harder to talk me off the ledge and I have great team members. We sit down and talk about these things and I have to keep my word - and I have to stick to my conviction that I made Sept. 21, 2017 [to retire]. I feel like I'm gonna be a better asset to the sport of boxing, my family, my church..... all the things that I'm doing as a retired fighter than I would be if I came back."

            Translation: "Give me 50-50 and I'll fight Canelo"!...

              Yes...The translation is that he's deeply conflicted about it...he knows its easy money and there is unfinished business w.r.t his assessment of his career accomplishments, but if he gives in, he will forever be a slave to this, especially if he loses a close fixed fight. I feel for the guy. It's the trap we all have. Money doesn't automatically come with happiness and security and safety from fear and depression and all that stuff we all want. However, faith in God does.

                    Andre Ward would get Knocked Out by Canelo. Canelo hits a lot Harder than Andre Ward. Canelo is a Much Better Defensive Fighter than Ward. Good Idea by Andre Ward to Reject a Fight with Andre Ward because Andre would get Knocked Out !!!
