HBO / Showtime were the only 2 10 years ago... now you have espn.. and Dazn also. and Fox.. problem with Fox (Al Haymond) like he said to many fighters headlining example.. who is fighting on Wilders undercard? any champions or known boxers.. Danny Garcia is not a main event fighter anymore he should of been added to his card.. even the Charlo Harrison fight. Who even fights on showtime anymore besides the Mayweather promotion fighters and About Billion fighters?

Does Showtime still have boxing matches? I haven't had access to Showtime in years; I don't think I'm missing anything.
I certainly don't miss Mauro Ranallo SHOUTING AT ME DURING THE FIGHTS.

That's why Boxingscene and Stephen Breadman insult Canelo and DLH and ESPN/TR while praising all PBC fighters.

          It's a joke

Espinoza is tripping "we will be left to clean it up" clean what up the lol the amount of boxing we can see at an affordable price. Showtime doesnt care about the lower weight classes we would have never seen these wbss touneys.

Badou jack and gervonta davis they exciting but who are they fighting has beens.

And when they do, it's usually showcases, mismatches, and fights way past the sale date. Sounds like someone is falling behind.

This!!! He was just on his high horse not too long ago. Now all I see on Twitter is him making salty comments about DAZN every weekend lol. Sad thing is, in 2019 DAZN has broadcasted more big fights and better fights in general than Showtime has.

100000000000000000%, I mentioned this on the topic of boxing ratings decreasing. I mean adding quantity was always going to hurt the quality. Having more boxing doesn't necessarily translate to better ratings, in fact it does the opposite. And we get worse match ups than if there were less cards. HOWEVER, it keeps fighters busier and in result they make more money.

                      He's wrong on all counts.

His main concern seems to be that viewers might tune in to a prospect fight with expectations to see a superstar fight - that's easy to fix - the viewer can inform themselves and/or be informed by the commentators.

This is how you grow a sport, kids will be watching and get drawn in to the out-of-ring and in-ring dramas and gradually learn about different levels.

Then he says - who's gonna clean up when Dazn leaves? Should be rubbing his hands together in anticipation, not moping about it.

Sounds like sour g****s if he said it today. He probably got up early to watch the super fight in Japan and knew instantly that his Tank and Badou card won't even come close. Bad start to the day for him.
