The quality of most boxing fights is not very good, in terms of compelling viewing. DAZN has done a great thing for a few fighters, bit their presentation of the events has been quite mediocre. From bad camera angles in the fights, to the delays, as you saw with Canelo and Kovalev waiting so long before they could get to the ring.

Come on! This guy has a vested interest in seeing less boxing on TV. I found out when PBC was flooding the market with sub par fights and HBO was doing the same that you don't have to watch every fight broadcast. I'm way more choosey these days. If you want people to watch your fights, show people fights that they want to see.

Showtime needs its own separate App,or partner with an existing one . Never to much boxing the truth is PPV shouldn't really exist and if it didn't most can get all the apps compared to buying an excessive amount of 3/4 PPV's that run over a hundred dollars easily. how much is the wilder fight ? If its over 70 dollars and a bunch of fights no one wants t see on it that proves my point .

sorry, but the guy who bought Garcia -Salka has forever waived the right to criticize any other platforms content........

Edit: And in addition, the guy who paid 8 figures for Wilder-Breazeale has forever waived the right to criticize any other platforms spending habits........

              My thoughts exactly!!!

IMHO, if there is a problem, it would be with the presentation.

One, they do not seem to know how to market boxing and now that we have social media and online services we're even more behind in terms of marketing.

Fights should be on regular TV not some cable channel. I have cable, but all of a sudden they add a 2 to the name of the channel and i have to pay extra to add the new variation. Not paying for the channel just for a show/event that may be on once a week.

Two. Eliminate the pay per view events that don't deserve the price of admission.

In terms of marketing, Friday night Fights had the right idea minus Max's leather jacket in the early days lol. They had a good approach with the boxing news segments. People got to discover new and exciting prospects and we sometimes had highlights from bouts that aired on competing networks.

Now for my rant: Why would i pay for something like DAZN when the majority of the fights are just TV quality match ups? Yes I would get the PPVs included in the yearly fees, but we went from promoter wars to network and promoter wars. DAZN can't even give us big fights between top fighters they signed. Its like the Don King scam where he would basically sacrifice one of his guy to another one on those King network or whatever shows hosted by Bob Sheridan.

This weasel always has to say something ******... that's why theres DVR and the apps have the fights on demand to watch them later

Showtime Boxing is not long for this world.

Showtime, say hello to HBO for us, when you get to where you're going.

That's because 99% of shows on those 2 are garbage.

You get the occasional Beterbiev vs OG fight but for the most part it's unwatchable trash fights
