HBO / Showtime were the only 2 10 years ago... now you have espn.. and Dazn also. and Fox.. problem with Fox (Al Haymond) like he said to many fighters headlining example.. who is fighting on Wilders undercard? any champions or known boxers.. Danny Garcia is not a main event fighter anymore he should of been added to his card.. even the Charlo Harrison fight. Who even fights on showtime anymore besides the Mayweather promotion fighters and About Billion fighters?

1)Showtime's Espinoza signed an exclusive deal with Al Haymon and PBC management and not the fighter's individual promotion companies. Because the the fighters are self promoted their individualized promotion companies are NOT obligated to fight on Showtime or Fox.

2)The public doesn't know the fighters because they're not as well promoted as Canelo, Lomachenko, Kovelev, etc or any other fighter with a fully staffed promotional company behind them. Even if you dislike Oscar, Hearn, Arum, DeBela and or others, you can't deny that they build fighters into super stars.

3)Showtime and Espinoza have over the years put on too many one-sided showcase fights and ridiculously over priced PPV's.

Lastly, Espinoza isn't fooling anyone with his fake concern for boxing. Espinoza's credibility vanished when he decided to exclude the P4P best fighter on the planet because he fought on another network. In the end, Espinoza cares about Espinoza 1st and Boxing 2nd. He played hard ball with all the other networks and lost.

But hey...there's always an opening for a man with his talents at the WBC.

You may not know it but Spence was in an accident and hasn't said when or if he's coming back. Also, Pacquiao isn't fighting anymore this year and said he might fight one or two fights next year and he's done.

yeah...nobody knows guys like spence and wilder! i forgot how many ppvs loma and kovalev have sold!!! lol

spence has been shown on the sidelines at cowboys games many times, including thanksgiving day, with jerry jones...the cowboys being one of the most marketable brands in sports!

after ortiz 2 wilder will have made around 27-30 million for his last 3 fights....name me another american boxer who fighting currently that has made that in their career....ill wait......

the overall popularity of guys like spence and wilder is not indicative of anything that haymon hasnt done with them...its a reflection of americans interest in boxing and the american market.....

haymon just got chenko a career high payday....he got ruiz the opportunity of a lifetime when arum didnt want him....

some of you suckers couldnt me more dumb thinking everything haymon does is some sort of major disaster....haymon is here and hes not going away.....hes doing more than fine...hes doing so well that arum cant stand it or him....

I love being able to watch boxing every week. The problem is that these networks and promoters are competing against one another as if they are the ones in the ring. We (the fans) really don't give a damn who promotes the fights or what station it comes on. If there's a big fight and Nickelodeon is going to air it, I'll be watching it. They need to have a DAZN 1 a DAZN 2 and possibly a DAZN 3, where you can watch all of your boxing, wrestling, kickboxing, UFC, etc. But also cross-televise them on ESPN or Showtime, etc. depending on what station the fighter is signed with. So a Tyson Fury fight would be on DAZN 1 and on ESPN. And if he fights Wilder, then they negotiate whether it be on Showtime or ESPN, but still offer it on DAZN too. If enough money could be made, use all three stations, but most likely, they would only be able to broadcast it on two stations in order to make some money.

Let's talk about the real issue here. The issue is, boxing fans....per usual.

Most of y'all motherfuckers piss and moan about EVERYTHING!

When it was just HBO and Showtime, y'all complained. Now that we have multiple platforms, it's "the fights are mismatches", "DAZN's going out of business", "Fox broadcasters and production is trash", "Canelo's ducking X,Y, and Z". Blah blah blah.

Guess when we heard the SAME type of complaints? When there was just HBO and Showtime running boxing.

I swear y'all complain about everything. Also, a lot of you have become "experts" at revenue, streaming service numbers, etc.,....the same way y'all did with PEDs, gloves, weight clauses, etc.

When there wasn't enough boxing on, people complained. Now that we multiple platforms (at low prices or flat-out free of charge), you still hear complaints.

Boxing fans kill their own sport and look for somebody to blame. Mirror therapy will help with this issue....study it closely.
