😂Seriously though, I don't understand why fighters use him..

If Canelo stays at this weight and fights Beterviev or Bivol next then he gets respect but given the unspectacular performance he had last night is highly doubtful he'll ever fight a prime LHW
Are you ******, before the fight was announced Kovalev was the #1 lhw that only changed when Beterbieve beat a very average nail & that fight was already signed

Still I thought that Kovalev should have been winning, but as is the case in the Canelo fights when he seems to be losing, 2 of the judges had Canelo winning and the other had a draw🤔
As usual when canelo haters say he was losing they show how fckin biased they are & how lil they know about boxing. Canelo outlanded kov in power punches more than 2-1 ffs,& in total punches while kov landed weak jabs on nelos gloves all night. No surprise hating ass fools had nelo losing a fight he controlled in its entirety

I had Kovalev up as well but he's definitely a shell of himself. I think he still has power but either he or his corner know that his timing and punch resistance have diminished (and I'm not inferring his punch restistance was ever great) and thus they didn't want to commit to anything for fear of counters.

I still give Canelo credit, he went up in weight and dethroned a titleholder. I think he expected Kovalev to gas or wear down but it didn't really seem like that was happening until that sudden and brutal KO.

I also have to say that I'm incredibly disappointed in DAZN for delaying the main event until after the UFC card ended. Canelo is a superstar and fights like last night's should never kowtow to MMA. It's like the only people who thought the UFC card was a legitimate concern were the DAZN executives.

No shock - was the outcome most boxing writers/insiders/oddsmakers/ and knowledgable boxing fans predicted the moment the fight was made!! Want a challenge/risk/b great - call out Beterbiev!!

And your basing this claim off of what? Only you and the casuals would believe a middleweight would have one punch KO power against a lhw. Even if the KO was legit, doesn't erase the fact that canela knew he was fighting a shot kov who had a fight less than 3 months ago against yarde. kov already aware he's close to retirement and could care less about losing the belt since he got a huge pay in agreeing to this fight. In hindsight, it was already fixed you prick!!!

Props to Canelo and respect. Now take on bieterbev and erase the memories of dropping the wbc belt to avoid an on fire GGG.

If he does that, then the one mark against him is gone as far as I'm concerned.

And before you GGG hating fk t a rds start railing against me fk ggg and fk you. Just calling it like I see it.

Canelo will continue making ko artist leave hands at home & you're going to have to be here hating on him for many yrs to come
