I get the impression you seem to think I'm some mega Canelo hater and exclusivly a GGG fan boy. This is not the case, believe it or not pre 2016 Canelo was one of my favorite boxers - but since then I will admit I hate the guy and his team for all the BS that surrounds him and the PED use.

You're overlooking the main point here, Kovalev is 36 years old it doesn't get any easier trying to manage your weight at that age nevermind a career first time, rehydration clause. Its easier for younger fighters to do but also chuck into the mix the two back to back training camps on an aging body and its bound to take its toll...

As for GGG vs Jacobs - G played by the rules wheres Jacobs came in at close to cruiserweight... if you think thats fair in a major unification you need your head examined.

Kov fought nothing like he normally fights. he clearly cashed out and took a dive. I knew when this fight was announced, it was bought and paid for.

What a farce! Kovalov fought like he was required NOT to hurt the DAZN cash cow yet even with the pity pats won most of the rounds yet to no ones surprise was behind on the score cards when he took his dive ,I mean got knocked out. Hey the WWE had to admit their matches were fake when is Canelo gonna fess up. Canceling my phoney DAZN subscription after this farce

The fight seemed strange. Seemed like a hold back sparring session so the sparring partner doesn't land hard and mess up the champ with a cut or injury before the big fight. Kovalev had a paper chin and was affected by punches way before the big KO punch. No rest since being concussed in a tough fight against a nobody, he's drained, he's shop worn and he's old. Some people should be in jail for this mismatch. The guy could have been killed based on the scenario presented and I said that around the time the fight was announced.
