Give Canelo credit for this one. Legit KO over a faded and chinny champion. Kovalev was up 1-2 points on my card (I missed a round), Canelo was winning the 11th too. Nothing dodgy here imo, Kovalev looked somewhat gassed from the middle rounds and Canelo eventually capitalised. The shot on the top of the head rattled Kovalev a lot and the second punch buzz an already hurt fighter. The KO punch was brutal!
Canelo went up in my estimation, he got the job done. But let's not kid ourselves, he's not doing that the the King of the 175lbs division - Beterbiev. Ref stops Canelo on his feet in that fight.

that left hook doesn't seem as hard to transform kovalev into khan even if it was on the ear

Maybe, just maybe, Nelo is better than people give him credit for.

Nelo is the goods, like it or hate it.

It’s disrespectful and dumb to call that acting. You’ve seen boxers die. And you think Kovalev is just going to allow another pro fighter to tee off on him like that? And that he wasn’t trying?
He was following an ill-advised gameplan of staying outside and jabbing, and just try to win by boxing. Throwing power punches would have given him a better chance at catching Canelo with something, taking risks. But also leaves him open for Canelo’s shots. He opened up a little bit in the end and his worries came true. He got caught and lost. End of story.
The only acting I see are fans acting dumb, making sh/t up, trying their best to appear r/tarded.

Dont mix me in with 99% of this forum, im not biased at all, i like Kov and Canelo, but to say that this fight is absolutely not fixed is dumb, we dont know that, you can call it cynical but its not being a close minded moron, i have no clue if it was fixed or not, i dont know those people, but it did look strange to me for sure

I hate it, but Nelo is the goods. I get that Kov was no longer the big beast he once was at 175 but Canelo aint no LightHeayweight. Respect where it is due.
