That looked staged as hell.

Kovvie's only intent was to get $12 million no matter how he had to get it.Comment

I think this is the closest to the truth.
Kovalev probably just showed up to collect his millions and flicked some jabs out there.
He went through the ward filth then started talking retirement after being KO'd. What better way to complete the retirement trajectory than taking a huge payday in a meaningless novelty bout against a middleweight.Last edited by ////; 11-04-2019, 08:15 AM.Comment

exactly.Yo I dunno what to say. I really don't. I will be the first to tell people calling fights staged is corny. But I've watched this fight 3x and I dunno wtf I was watching. Everything just seems off. I've watched hundreds of fights and I've never seen a bigger guy fight scared of the smaller guy and virtually let himself be knocked out like that. Never seen it. Kovalev has never fought this way. Game plan or no, you ALWAYS revert to what you know sooner or later.
Kovalev threw 2 punches like Kovalev does and Canelo felt them. Then he drew back like a small light bulb in his head turned on: "Damn, I forgot, I am not supposed to hit this guy hard at all" After the round he touched Canelo's glove like , Sorry!Comment

You fixed ?
People here have probably watched thousands of fights over the years and are more than capable to judge if a punch is thrown with bad intentions or not.
Nobody's buying what you're selling here.Comment

Yup. They were touching gloves at the end of every round. Kova held back every time he landed something snappy that might have hurt Canelo, and then went back to lazy punching.Comment

I'm not selling anything, friend. Kovalev fought and threw jabs the way he usually does, it's hurt lower level or different style of fighters to Canelo in the past, just because it didn't hurt Canelo it doesn't mean he didn't throw with bad intentions.Comment
