Kovalev just said in the post fight interview that Buddy McGirt told him to not open up to avoid body shot counters. The gameplan was to box Canelo and keep him off balance with the jab. How ******ed are you people?

Don Trella didn't seem to score enough rounds and tried to stick two scores in one space in Round 6.

It looked like Krusher was on the back end of his career and his confidence had been taken from him by SOG, and Alvarez...he was a punch or two from getting stopped by Yarde as well...Krusher can’t be Krusher forever...The fight played out the way Ward and many other boxers and trainers predicted it would!!

Kovalev sold the KO well. Incredibly well but Canelo did not appear to load up very much. Looked potentially suspect. The right passed through the target and I know for certain I could sell a fake knockout with the same guided motion at the same speed with no real power behind the shot.
It's not like 300+ million dollars is part of this overall equation. It's not like they needed to add some value somehow. Right? That this fight was even happening in the first place was suspect. These two probably spent weeks choreographing this.
