Canelo gassed out in some of his previous fight. He may gassed out in this fight too due to too much weight he added. Andre Ward is right for his thought..

Andre SOG Ward, "I was faster, I was stronger and people don't believe it, but, I was even dirtier than the first fight".

It's boxing scene where Charlos are never called cheats despite ducking testing a whole week & refusing to answer their phones & despite having the lamest bs story as to why(they claimed they were in another state & showed a random undated pic as proof (& of course they couldn't answer cell phones for a weeks because you know young ppl love not having it everywhere they go...NOT!). Where charlos win over Korobov isn't controversial despite the corrupt judges gifting him almost every rd.

Where wards wins over Kovalev are never called controversial, where Beterbieve getting kd by a journeyman 2 fights back is never mentioned, yet at every opportunity Kovalev is said to supposedly be washed up because he lost 1 rd vs an undefeated prime lion with a 100% ko ratio.

Where for months on end in every Canelo article the clear wins & fair draw over ggg are called controversial despite nelo landing more power shots & eye catching punches & despite ward getting dropped vs kov & still no mention of it the countess articles that use those fights to taint kovs status. Boxing scene is completely biased & hates on Canelo 24/7.

The writers probably have secret alt accounts from the way they co-sign the hypocrite idiots on here that use any excuse to discredit Canelo yet over credit other fighters

Do we need to be remind what 15lbs of water or muscle combination would look like? I said weeks ago that Canelo wouldn’t need to drain for the scale and in the previous months Canelo just looks like normal Canelo. He himself said he wouldn’t need to drain. Though it does look Canelo added 5lbs muscle tops. I think he’ll be 177 or 178 tonight

Though to Ward’s credit, I know the interview from which he said this. I think it’s from Fight Hype and a week old. He said the problem he had himself was that he bulked up for Kova and that he should’ve just “been himself.” However in the second fight imo he looked more soft and filled and thicker neck.. so I don’t know what Ward is on about. I honestly give Ward benefit of doubt he’s merely talking about his performance rather than make it seem he’s criticizing Canelo or giving advice.
Yes indeed. BoxingScene has been taking bits and pieces of that interview the past few days knowing that Ward & Kovalev generate clicks.

It was not controversial by any means. Boxing experts know that Andre Ward dominated and was in firm control over the back half of that fight. It was clear he outpointed Kovalev that night and only reaffirmed it by making the Russian quit in the rematch. The fact that this rubs you the wrong way means nothing as you are an insignificant peasant that doesn't know shit about boxing!!

Just wait until Canelo moves up to heavyweight in 2023. He'll be wider than he is tall.

I agree, but Ward's whole career is marred with crappy wins that were very suspect, and he and his delusional
fans took full credit for it so why would his Kovalev "wins" be any different? Ward is a darling in the North American
boxing establishment, so his "wins" are all graded on a curve

Not sure how much canelo bulked up...it’s more like he just didn’t cut any weight. He’s weighed 174 unofficially as a jmw.
