Ward could have gotten an legit victory, but he also was allowed to get away with numerous lows blows included a 3 punch low blow combinations that Weeks allowed and which ended the fight.
Okay i agree with this 100%

The fact that this rubs you the wrong way means nothing as you are an insignificant peasant that doesn't know shit about boxing!!
When Canelo outpointed Jacobs it was not controversial even though it was close. When GGG got the win against Dervy it was controversial. Controversial means that a notable number of fans do not agree with the decision and make a lot of fuss about it. You may disagree with this, but it will not stop being controversial because of that. Kovalev vs Ward I was a controversial fight by every standard. Again, it's fine to disagree that Kovalev should have won, but for objectivity sake you should admit the decision was not clear cut. I, for one, believe you need to be blind to see that Ward beat Kovalev for 8 rounds.

I agree one of you certainly is an insignificant peasant that doesn't know shit about boxing!!
Obviously Ward was dominant down the stretch controlling every aspect of the fight. Canelo was too slow because of the bulk but he had the ring iq to know this during the fight and not punch himself out. He fought at a very controlled pace to not drain himself and controlled every aspect of the fight like Ward did against Kovalev in both fights.. You have never been in a boxing ring like this clown that posted. So I dont respect either of you little boys.

Am I biased? I picked Kovalev by KO over Canelo just to show that if proper training time were given without a quick turnaround then the result would have been different last night. But Kovalev was given a full training camp against Ward in both fights. It is Kovalev's own fault that he gassed out in that first fight and was wholly dominated and lost every round in the back half of that fight. He has himself to blame for being a vodka drinking russian sheep. He is a victim of his own limiting self belief.

Look there are a bunch of boxing fans that don't know how to score fight and have never stepped foot in a boxing ring. There are people that post here that cant tell how bad those body shots Canelo landed on Lara hurt and it was obvious by people saying that fight was "controversial". Most of these novices are easily swayed by the more obvious flashy shots but people that actually know how to fight know whos really hurting who in there. Yes Kovalev dropped Ward early in the first fight. There is no denying that. But Ward controlled every single round in the second half of the fight. The first half of the fight was competitive. So the fact that there are a bunch of novice or racist posters saying the white immigrant won makes no difference to me. I know boxing and I know Ward clearly won that fight. There was no controversy. Just widespread ignorance.

I can copy/paste your response, change Ward to Kovalev in a sentence, where you talk about Ward clearly winning the fight and voila, prove me wrong. That's the beauty of subjectivity of scoring. And which is why it was a controversial decision.
