Not really. Ward was the one doing damage in that ring during round 7-12 in the first fight. This was proven by how he made Kovalev submit the second time around. This probably went over a novice spectators head even when the second fight made it abundantly clear. People that try to dispute clarity only display their ignorance. Kovalev wasn't on the verge of stopping Ward late. It was the other way around and if you have ever been in a dog fight you know that. It isn't even a question.

Too many irrelevant words. The bottom line is Ward needed to win 8 rounds. He didn't. Period. That is if you know how to score fights as opposed to talking about dog fights and using second fights to prove a point about the first ones. Again, ward did not win 8 rounds. Even if you give him 7 rounds (which you shouldn't), it would mean a draw. Kovalev was robbed in that fight. Not really. You must be joking. Ward won 2 of the first six rounds and 7-12 and it isn't even disputable to an educated eye.Too many irrelevant words. The bottom line is Ward needed to win 8 rounds. He didn't. If only you could see the point I made, but instead you focused on who won the fight. "Educated" eyes don't do that. Boxing fans...sure, the average IQ here is about 85.Comment

Math isn't your strongest skill, huh? 7 rounds minus 1 round for knockdown equals 6 rounds, which equals a draw. Therefore, in order to win Ward needed to win at least 8 rounds. And he so did not.Comment
