No different than when Oscar left Top Rank to start his own promotion.
I think Oscar promising DAZN he could deliver a third GGG fight to secure his own deal was a big deal breaker.
That sums it up in a nut shell.

If you're Canelo, being associated with ODH hurts your brand right now. The PED's. The champion emeritus. The derevychenko/IBF BS.

Remember, this is the same Count of Monte Fisto that disappeared and had to go to rehab during the biggest fight in Canelo's career. Now, Canelo is trying to make history and the story isn't about the fight but Coka dela Lingerie fisting some chick who wouldn't put on a strap on and buttf-ck him.

Maybe it's time for Canelo to leave GBP an go elsewhere. Just like 8ball dela rolling pin and Floyd he doesn't need a promoter anymore.

Oscar should just let ginger go.
There is ko hype for him since golovkin. Its natural, same thing happened with pac and may after they fought. Their ppvs went down and hype died down (except for the circus that was mcgregor-mayweather).
Lets see how ginger does on his own.

Why would I buy a sub to a magazine I don't read? You want people to respond to an article they cannot read. You can't call folks out for not reading the whole thing when it requires a subscription.

Regardless, all of that is moot. Canelo is now big enough that he doesn't need promoters and managers. What can Oscar do for him that he can't do for himself now? But lets give credit where it is due. Oscar built him up and matched him up in a way that launched him to the top. Now that Canelo no longer wants to pay for Oscar's services, he is looking for a way out that makes Oscar look like the villain.

It's been deteriorating for 2 years. He's becoming unhappy and saying no loyalty but yet signs an extension with the guy. Makes cents. Lol

You're damn right, if Canelo is a lil KNOWN is because of Oscar de la Hoya.

Good thing Al took all his fighters from that disloyal ungrateful Oscar. Canelo should have left with them. Oscar sold Canelo to DAZN just to keep GBP from going under that’s not loyalty. Most Mexicans I know are loyal and are about principle. Oscar is neither but obviously Canelo is.

Also Oscar is accused of drug abuse and sexual assault almost once a year it’s just not a good look for Canelo. He should partner with the Harvard Graduate Haymon who has no criminal background or sexual assault settlements.

Dang I cant beleive he actually said that. I know canelo has been frustrated with oscar and its finally coming out.

I bet he regrets signing that extension.
