Of course it started when GGG beat Canelo because Delahoya knew he did and insisted on a rematch that Canelo didn't necessarily want. Just like he doesn't want the rubber match.

Of course theres major issues. Got practically ignored a few weeks ago, but Canelo recently signed one of his fighters to Matchroom instead of GBP. Reynoso came out with this

“It is a pleasure to start this alliance with the best promoter in boxing,” said Eddy Reynoso, Sport and Talent director at Canelo Promotions. “We will work very hard and with great enthusiasm to launch Mexican talents to the big boxing leagues!"
Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing USA are delighted to announce a multi-fight promotional deal with Julio Cesar Martinez and Canelo Promotions. Martinez (14-1 11

              Name a fighter with a promoter that's selling PPV's. I'll wait
But clowns like you were calling Canelo-Smith and Canelo-Khan complete ppv failures...
              So which is it???
Why are you comparing Errol and Deontay's ppv fights to two Canelo ppv failures???
It would seem that all those ppv fights failed in the ppv platform right????

As one of the biggest fights of his career approaches, there is still a lot of tension between Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez and his longtime promoter, Golden Boy Promotions. On Saturday night, Canelo will go for his fourth divisional belt when he moves up by two full weight classes to challenge WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

That's why canelo had talks with TR and arum keeps mentioning him. But canelo is locked in for several years.
