Nelo has the best corner in boxing and the skills to pull a victory. I'm sure we'll see a lot of speed and massive counter punching. We'll also see some major Ward style inside boxing. This will be Cenlos new weapon in his arsenal. Being smaller will be an advantage.

Two 180 pound fighters, one old, one young. It’s a very good fight but Canelo is favored for a reason.

I see your point, but I still think Canelo has a good shot for the decision win! He has enough slick skills to avoid Kovalev’s money shots and ring generalship to sell the fight to the judges.
I’m not a Canelo hater, but I still get tired of GoldenBoy selling him as a legend in our time — I see him as just a very good, very skilled, solid fighter. He’s not on the level of a Mayweather or Durán or anything like that.
Kovalev is still a dangerous puncher, but he really hasn’t been the same since he lost the close decision to Ward followed by the stoppage in the rematch — he hasn’t gotten over it mentally and I see him as damaged goods in that regard. If Canelo is one thing, he is strong mentally and that should give him an advantage in this fight.

Yeah, I don't get why people are just expecting Canelo to move up and beat Kovalev so easily. I'm still not sure what him and his team were thinking either. His power didn't even seem too effective at 160.

Kovalev fought Andre freakin' Ward on even grounds in two fights until that bizarre stoppage. Canelo is good but nowhere near the skillset level of Ward nor does he have the size. Sure, Kovalev got stopped by Alvarez, who is a power punching clubber, but he thoroughly washed him in a rematch. Full credit to Canelo if he wins this in style.
