lmao Andrade is NOT considered the elite of the division? That wbo belt is really losing rank. This writer does not even recognize it

I scored the fight for Derev when I saw it for the first time by the way. He fought hard and he bent the rules. I give him credit for what he accomplished but not for the crap he pulled.

I can't remember if he measured Golovkin but if he wasn't warned, it's pretty weird that he wasn't, considering the ref warned Golovkin about measuring when he fought Stevens. He fought a good fight and had a hell of a tank, but he actually didn't do as well as I thought. He got saved too at the end of whatever round it was where Harvey stepped in too early.

Boxing is the most corrupt sport in the world and the scoring system is ridiculously subjective and poorly implemented. Fair score cards are like pink ****ing unicorns.
But in the meantime, he's certainly no gatekeeper; it's not like he's losing 8+ rounds UD. But it's a disservice to the fighters to go around giving "P4P" trophies for effort.
And as far as the scorecards go you have two choices. One, get the knockout. Figure it out. Two, be SO much better than your opponent that you get the scores every time. Floyd managed it, Ward managed it, Calslappy managed it, Menayothin managed it. AT some point we need to hold the fighters responsible for showing up SIGNIFICANTLY better than their opponent, instead of "I gave away rounds" etc etc.

Canelo doesn't fight anyone in their prime... Baldomir, Mosely, Cotto, Golovkin, Jacobs and now Kovalev were all either too old or past their peak and the rest on his resume were bums on not on his level. Derevyanchenko is all wrong for Canelo. The movement, angles, workrate and power of SD would have Canelo in sheet. Its well known Canelo has slow legs, this fight would be his nightmare.
