Absolutely. But since Dervy gave GGG such an amazing fight, Canelo will need to wait for a couple of years for Dervy to hit 35. After that - no question, they would fight. Twice even.

To me, Dervy has passed the eye test with his two competitive fights with Jacobs and GGG. He's not the top dog, but he's proven. Charlo needs that prove it fight though, but I feel like he'll only want to do it verses on of the other champions.

He lost razor close to two Top 3 ranked fighters. It seems nearly impossible to get a controversy-free scorecard at the elite level. It just doesn't happen. GGG should have gotten the nod against Canelo in that first fight. Canelo cleanly beat GGG in the rematch and still people are calling it a robbery. Forget the official scorecards. They don't tell us what is plain to our own eyes.

Nelo won both fights. Its those SAME PEOPLE who said Nelo lost the 2nd that said he lost the 1st.

Korobov is an old guy way past his best and even at his best he wasn't an elite, Derevenchenko is still in a great shape, it would be a good fight vs Charlo who should step up instead of cherry picking like his next fight, how is that guy he's fighting even ranked? WBC corruption at it's finest.

Well, if GGG is not a challenge to Canelo (in Canelo's own words), then, surely, SD, who (in Canelo's own words) beat GGG, would give Canelo a challenge. Because Canelo is always looking for challenges (in Canelo's own words). Voila.

P.S. Or SD is a bit too fresh for Canelo and the fight should marinate for 2 years until SD is 35? It seems like if Canelo sees fighter as a challenge, he will wait until they go over the magic 35 number. Ah, the sweet years of decline..

This is too obvious to be ignorance as Derevyanchenko just fought GGG and he recently fought Danny Jacobs.

How could anyone be that casual not to notice these obvious great opportunities?
