Only a pound lol , and coming from an desktop expert lol.

A single pound can destroy you, it only needs to be that 1 pound below your bottom, its like climbing a mountain peak and stepping off a cliff.

You have no argument based on anything that means anything, but a fanboy wouldnt know that , you would need to be close to Cotto to really know, his performance was weakened at 145 he showed this in the ring with lowered resistance and less strength and thats why Manny would not fight Cotto at 154, because he is not weakened at 154 , its the same Cotto only not weakened and Manny wanted nothing to do with after calling him out, he knows its not the same Cotto.

      Basically this.

These PAC boys contradict their own logic. If lbs didnt matter, or “1lb” then why didn’t Pac allow those fighters the full limit?

Floyd is a good example for 2 reasons why weight matters.

Floyd couldn’t even make 2lbs for Marquez. He came in at 146 for Marquez and didn’t honor the contract. If in theory Floyd is the master at weight discipline, then how come he couldn’t “drain” to 144 for the Marquez weigh in?

Because Haymon advised “just pay the fine,” nobody will focus on the weight. Marquez was going to pull out. Money talks.

Second point, Davis, while still young, too, missed a scale by about 1-2lb if I recall? Again, if it’s so easy, they’d go and shed water in the grace period provided.

When you hit a threshold your body will bottleneck and collapse that the fight is over. Too much money that the promoters say “phuq it” and let the fights continue. Surely there’s always been weight tampering for these reasons. We are not gonna allow 1lb to destroy a whole fight and its value, so behind the scenes things are renegotiated etc.

You just explained why Loma ducked Rigo back in 2013-2014 for the 124 catch weight. Loma was weighing 125lb. Rigo’s Team said the same thing you’re describing as I have for years.

Yet you always says Rigo ducked Loma. Lol Pacboys mayne!

The reason Floyd didnt make the 144 is because after 2 yrs out his body held onto weight that bit tighter and he was not prepared to boil it off at the last call I think he was surprised, he would never have known he wasnt making the weight until it was like 4 hours before weigh in, ironically Floyd weighed the same 146 he weighed years earlier.

I believe he intended to make the weight but not by boiling it off, to even imply Floyd needed to cheat to beat JMM is absurd, he would thrash JMM at any weight at any time, just a class above. and Juan is a great fighter but no counter boxer is going to touch prime Floyd, their match was so technical they didnt need a ref, weight had nothing to do with it, this is the bit people dont understand a CW isn't nearly the advantage to Floyd as it is to Manny based purely on physicality and their respective styles.

Weight is not as cut and dry as fans think, believe me more fights are won on the scales than fans realise.

This is absolute bullshet. Again, you’re confused.

THE REASON why guys can’t continue make a 1-2lb is because they are already draining for the scale. We know damn well Floyd wasn’t shedding off 10lbs of water like 90% of all fighters, prospect to elite.

2lbs of water IS EASY TO SHED OFF if you’re not draining. If you say Floyd couldn’t do 2lbs of water shed then you’re automatically acknowledging that he was draining for 146.

Enough with the long layoff prison crap

When one gets down to brass tacks, it was about flaunting one's status.

                  I'm at a loss though.

Is one pound south deadly or a non issue
But if it's a non issue, Pac shouldn't have demanded it.

                  I'm getting all dizzy

Add in Cotto's clause and the rest of Pac's WW shenanigans (soft as fu ck opponents) and you'd think his fans would be less noisy.

                  ''He fought Margarito, though !!!''

lol Did he sign the dotted line? Was their a gun in Cotto's head?

                      I figured lolololol

The fact he signed it means he can, and he did. That's all she wrote. With all the science in boxing. A pound of shyit is easy to lose, but off course you didn't know that
