147 was the hottest division in boxing 154 was a dead division that's why Canelo was fighting WWs at 154 who did Cotto fight at 154 that was worth campaigning at the division for?

Here is what Cotto said about Pacquiao catchweight

WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto is counting the numbers on the check. Puerto Rico's biggest star told Raul Alzaga that his final decision, regarding his next opponent, will be determined by money. Cotto and members of his team are evaluating two possible scenarios - a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, or a rematch with Manny Pacquiao on June 9th - also in Las Vegas.

Nobody even mentions the fact the floyd weight drained clenelo when he was so clearly weight drained.
You’re aware Floyd used steroids than used IV Flush

Quit making stories up. Cotto was the one who threatened to vacate the title. This is where the WBC made up the ‘diamond’ belt so it would still be a ‘title’ fight even if Cotto vacates the WBO. Even if Cotto vacates, WBO said their match would still be for the vacant WBO title match. This is where Cotto was cornered.

Cotto: Does Pacquiao Fear Me? Mayweather Will Go To 154

As BoxingScene.com previously reported several times, the agreed-upon weight is an issue with the Pacquiao rematch. When they first met in 2009, Cotto was forced to meet Pacquiao at a catch-weight of 145-pounds. Now a champion at 154, and being pursued by the two biggest names in boxing, Cotto will not budge from his position of refusing to fight below 150-pounds. Pacquiao is refusing to fight Cotto above the welterweight limit of 147. However, Mayweather has no problem with fighting Cotto at 150 or above.

"I will not fight below 150 pounds. Mayweather Jr. said he has no problem going up to 154 to fight me. Pacquiao is the one who objected and wants me to once again come down to a weight between 145 and 147 pounds. If Pacquiao had no trouble going up to 150 to fight Margarito, why is there a set requirement for me to go down again? Does he fear me? If Pacquiao wants to fight me again, it must be above 150 pounds. I will not continue to sacrifice my body to lose weight," Cotto said.

As a fan and hater of floyd, i didn’t give him full credit for the canelo win... for the marquez win... and his pac win.

He was trashing pac for his catchweights only to find himself rushing to a similar position in a weight he has fought a number of times already.. while pac only has one welterweight fight prior to cotto. If you were here during floyd’s prime (a lot of newbies nowadays), it was very hard being a fan as he was a walking contradiction of himself.. 80% of the time..

He offered a catchweight fight to marquez at 144 only to come in overweight.. marquez couldn’t do anything as the fight was a mega event and he’ll only damage his reputation if he’d back off at that point. Now that’s what forced means.

Pac fight happened 6 years too late after pac already planked and couldn’t KO the algerias of the world.. i don’t give him credit for beating pac as he avoided him his entire prime years... with the same excuses “i don’t work with arum” “only for a fixed fee” lmao 6 years later he was so okay working with arum.. and with the 60-40 like wtf

You should look for the real reasons why the fight didn't happen way back when. Don't just go by emotions. Seek out the truth, no matter how painful it is !

And which part was I wrong?

He clearly trashed pacman for his catchweights only to have a couple himsef including not making weight in one.

He clearly said him and haymon don’t work with arum for 6 damn years!!!! Only to easily worked with him when the time was right lol!

You obviously failed to investigate the truth behind May vs Pac.
