Umm what did I make up?? I knew all this, he made the choice Canelo made the choice to fight at 152 his fault.

Cotto on the other hand didn’t have a choice if he didn’t fight Pac at 145 the WBO was gonna strip him.

Cotto protested the catchweight even threatened to vacate the belt Canelo voluntarily offered a catchweight to lure Floyd who accepted the offer

Both are b1tch moves but that poster has a point the catchweight was forced on Cotto

You're right they cancel each other out.
Now factor in that Cotto was a brick beaten left over and Canelo was undefeated and you can only conclude that the Canelo victory is miles ahead of the Cotto victory.

Floyd wanted it at 147. From a Canelo who is a 154 pound fighter. Then had to negotiate it up all the way to 152, Canelo didn't "lure" anything. You like to make stuff up when it is right in front of you.

Also worth noting is Cotto moved up in weight after the Pacquiao fight and Canelo stayed at the weight for years after the Floyd fight
