Derev did a really good job rolling and slipping and getting inside of GGG's punches. Ended up with a bunch of knots on the back of his head according to DiBella. Better than taking them on the face! Loved his body work with those swimming uppercuts. GGG was in control any time Derev slowed and he could get his jab going to set up big shots. Fair decision. GGG got ahead early and proved his worth in the champ rounds.
I had Derev taking it, but I score body punches, so I'm in the minority.

Just because SD threw long combos doesn't mean you need to stop the fight.
Some where around round nine, he was looking really gassed and Chenko was popping his head up pretty violently and Golovkin was kind of stumbling around. I may have overstated it a bit but I've never seen Golovkin looking like that and thought at the time if Chenko puts some shots together he could possibly get G in real trouble. He gathered himself obviously and won a couple of the last rounds.
