Ruiz’s skill level is so much higher than Wilder’s that I’m not sure Wilder could load up and catch Ruiz without getting caught first. I’m thinking that is a 50/50 fight.
There was a reason why Ruiz was getting beat on until Joshua tried to shoot-out with him, and it had nothing to do with Joshua's ability.

Ruiz has fast hands, but don't ignore the rest of the puzzle; he's feet are slow, he's not really fast, and he gets hit, clean, a ****-ton.

To hell with loading up; how is Ruiz going to deal with that hard heavy jab in his face all night, with that check hook coming hard whenever he slips? And that's before Wilder can throw that straight right from range. Lol

It doesn't seem like Andy is taking the fight seriously. He's busy enjoying his 15 minutes of fame. I'm not surprised these kind of theories are getting thrown around.

he's been posting daily training videos in his Instagram stories since the fight got signed. What makes you think that he's not taking it seriously?

He must have got into Deontay's weed stash. Makes zero sense to throw the fight.

He was eating taco after taco in his luxury suite at a soccer game in Mexico the other day.

If you offer him a house full of snickers, who knows, he might not be able to refuse.

I believe that. He's probably been bought off so Joshua can get those belts back. Eddie Hearn and Matchroom would probably give him an extra $10 mil incentive to lay down for AJ.

Eddie Hearn is thoroughly corrupt and rotten to its very core. He'll do anything. The man has no morals, values or scruples that I can think of. All he knows and loves his money.

He has decent feet, very fast hands and good head movement. Joshua isn't that good, you're deluded is all. Excuses, excuses.

                      Two things:
Ruiz was not exactly being beaten upon before getting knocked down, that isn’t at all what was happening. Up until the knockdown the fight was uneventful but you could see that it was Andy already moving forward like a machine and Joshua looking raggedy in spots and retreating.

Despite being at a disadvantage reach-wise, Ruiz actually has a better jab than Wilder. He showed a better more effective jab than Joshua and Joshua’s jab is better than Wilder’s.
