Spence “I’ll Never Betray Al, sets us up for retirement..” explains PBC Model

Vanes? Was a fighter who wanted more stay busy fights. I think Collazo had more action than Vanes on PBCTo be fair...a lot of these guys come from backgrounds where they have very little idea of how to invest or even what investing is.
If Al is just helping them by being a pseudo financial adviser that can actually really benefit a lot of those guys.
I will say I have never really seen an Al Haymon fighter, past or present, bash him...Comment

Haymon is a good businessman and sounds like a good dude. That being said him and Spence are *****es for holding up the Crawford fight.Comment

Man the people around most of the boxers are the reason they go broke. Having someone to trust with your career and life is priceless. It’s probably the reason why Haymon made Floyd his project/guinea pig aside from his 10% cuts on all fighters. Seeing how Floyd splurged on money it was always imperative for Haymon to set him up with big fights post Oscar. I’m more than sure it was all Haymon’s doing for the Marquez and Canelo weights since Floyd’s undefeated reputation is what kept Haymon’s partial income a float. It explains the redundancy in PBC in-house design like Top Rank.
A lot of these fighters have a father and a manager whom ideally would know the concept of financial advisory for their boxer/son.
Haymon feeds off fighters whom are insecure or gullible when it comes to money, which is why Floyd was the proxy for Haymon to exploit for other fighters.
“I want to thank Al Haymon” x 100 seems like a protocol from what Haymon asks his fighters to do.
For what it’s worth, Eddie Hearn ain’t perfect, but we gotta give him credit for Matchroom USA giving American fighters an income. 100mil for Wilder and Hearn is the enemy?
Let me repeat...$100mil
Let me repeat again...$100mil
It’s amazing how many PBC fighters fear Al, to go against the grainComment

That is the only issue I have. I am just not sure if it is Al though. I see lots of guys who are inactive in his roster, but to be honest I think it is the fighters.
Many fighters today are lazy. They would rather play on social media than anything else.Comment

You said NONE OF HIS FIGHTERS bad mouth Haymon. I'm just giving examples where that statement isn't true, regardless of why.Comment

NSB is very interesting. Spence says he's loyal to Al Haymon, certain posters complain. Those same posters complain when Crawford resigns with Bob. They also complain when Ward sues to leave Goosen and Mikey sues to leave TR.Comment

Angulo fighting Peter Quillin, after going 3-5 over the prior 8 fights, wasn't a low-risk fight though. This is one thing i like about Haymon, the less (%) that he takes from boxers compare to those old school promoters/manager. You saw Angulo comments last week and this is what i want to see if boxers. As a boxers i want to take less risk and make more money, this is the model that Haymon has produced for his boxers, some of us the fans might not like it from a competitive point of view, because we see boxers turning down 15 times their usual paydays against greater risks, but if i was in their position it would be a difficult one to decide too (Take a massive fight with a high payday against a tougher opponent or take 4 fights against lesser risks). This model works so well for PBC and some of their boxers who prefers to take lesser risks.
He's getting the shot because Truax got hurt, but still he got the call with enough time to formally have a fight camp and still get a main event, after going 3-5.
Nobody is turning down 15 times their paycheck, lol; under the Haymon umbrella, if the money is basically even or comparable, you trust the person who has done right by you and your family (instead of reaching for a bag, but not seeing that you've been cut out of the live event money, or being left waiting on a promised title shot that can't be delivered, or some back-end clauses that turn a two-fight deal into an owed six-fight package that you can't get out of).Comment

He's not rotting on the shelf; he just had a fight that sold out in his home town, he just had the big rollout with the Baltimore Ravens, and, with DAZN turning off the money spigot, is likely heading for a fight with Tevin Farmer to close out the year (or open 2020, likely on Showtime).Comment
