Comments Thread For: Angulo: Al Haymon Has Given Me Far More Than I've Given Back
-
Have tbh haven't heard many fighters ever say a bad word about Haymon, rare. He must treat his fighters good which is a great thing for boxing. -
This post is far too intelligent for this forum. Someone who doesn't understand or takes exception to what you've said will attack you and red k you for no reason. This is probably the best thing I’ve ever seen posted on this forum. You nailed the reasons why he is hated....and what I think is funny is that the people who fall into this won’t ever admit it even though it’s easy to see. We live in an era of in your face white nationalism....in the USA and UK especially and even in Canada and Australia....blacks having successful businesses, media, entertainment, being more outspoken in sports, singing the praises of HBCU’s etc really threatens those who see black economic independence as an erosion of white privilege.
Al Haymon embodies that....he scares them. And it’s a shame to see Mexican Americans getting on board with that considering how white nationalism/the alt right demonises that group in the USAComment

If you really understood, you’d know that showtime and fox sports have not been in the habit of promoting the others product in recent time, except when mentioning PBC schedule as a whole.
This is an Angulo/Haymon story and nothing more. Last nights fights were on FS1 which have nothing to do with CBS/Showtime. If it did, we’d have gladly run a disclaimer.Comment

Look at this clown under Ugas tweet. Mauricio had to give him the facts.Over the years, I have heard terrible stories from managers and promoters that even many were champions and once they become promoters do not treat their fighters in the best way. But I never thought there would be a man like Haymon in boxing. It is a blessing for the sport....

Al Haymon has been a great blessing for fighters . Takes care of them after they retire. Plenty of examples. Lamont Brewster, Paul Williams, Librado Andrade and many more. Takes care of Prichard Colon attended Adonis Stevenson and all I can say as a member of boxing is Thank you

The hate for al haymon, PBC, and anyone who supports PBC boxing is clearly steeped in simple vitriolic racism because he is an American of African extraction....plain and simple. Bitter, angry, triggered race soldiers should just admit thatLook at this clown under Ugas tweet. Mauricio had to give him the facts.

Flattering your manager is headline news worthy? If you really understood, you’d know that showtime and fox sports have not been in the habit of promoting the others product in recent time, except when mentioning PBC schedule as a whole.

Slow motion slugfest. If Haymon was his buddy he would tell him to retire and not give him fights.Comment
