And they're free to leave at any time. Like Herring, Dirrell, Matthysse, Doughlin and others. Never seen them tied up in court not fighting because they're trying to leave him

At least you admit Boxinscene is to the PBC what Fox News is to Tucker Carlson, no difference.

He doesn't promote fighters but he does get a percentage until they die. Even if they do need a promoter, ya can't leave Al, he owns you.

Wasn't meant to offend anyone. Please accept my most sincere apologies.

            3. His model threatens the fighter/promoter model so promoters work with writers to disparage him. The fans are easily brainwashed so they repeat what the media says.

But the people that actually matter, the fighters, love him. I don't think I've ever seen an actual hit piece on Haymon that was true.
This is probably the best thing I’ve ever seen posted on this forum. You nailed the reasons why he is hated....and what I think is funny is that the people who fall into this won’t ever admit it even though it’s easy to see. We live in an era of in your face white nationalism....in the USA and UK especially and even in Canada and Australia....blacks having successful businesses, media, entertainment, being more outspoken in sports, singing the praises of HBCU’s etc really threatens those who see black economic independence as an erosion of white privilege.
Al Haymon embodies that....he scares them. And it’s a shame to see Mexican Americans getting on board with that considering how white nationalism/the alt right demonises that group in the USA

Are de la Hoya, Arum, and Hearn also black and not playing by their rules, because those guys get a lot of hate also. You don't see ***s and Brits playing the race card to perpetuate a victimhood narrative.

Was a decent card to be fair

The competition between promoters is great for the sport !

More fights the better for me .... good stuff

Hearn gets bashed more than all the others combined !

Angulo was meant to be a sacrificial lamb. I continue receiving unnecessary brain damage, but hey at least I didn't get killed. Thanks, Master Al.
