    The heavyweight division is atrocious

Usually when the heavyweight division is this competitive, it’s because there’s a ton of talent.

The only other times in history that the division has been this competitive was in the 70s and 90s, two of the best eras in heavyweight history.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen the division be this competitive and it’s a bad thing.

There isn’t a dominant heavyweight champion and it isn’t because everyone is so good. It’s because no one is that good.

Fury has been overrated. Klitschko was old and Wilder can’t box.

As I just mentioned Wilder can’t box and if anyone goes 12 with him, he’ll lose.

Ortiz is too old. If he wasn’t old he would probably be the dominant champion.

Andy Ruiz is a fat guy.

Anthony Joshua is incredibly limited skill wise. He’s a slightly better boxer than Wilder but he’s basically the same thing. He’s a puncher and that’s it.

Pulev is too old as is Povetkin.

Whyte goes life and death against everyone with a pulse.

Parker is just a decent boxer without a punch

    Kownacki can’t box very well

    Miller is a fat kickboxer.

Who did I miss? I’ll explain why they suck too.

Mostly people just don’t know what they are looking at. If you are expecting men who stand 6 1/2 feet tall weighing 250 pounds to fight like middleweights then you should take a physics class. Just because the open class is different, that doesn’t make it inferior.

        Agreed.

But as they are all limited it makes fights competitive and interesting

I don’t expect heavyweights to fight like middleweights and I have no idea what that has to do with the fact that this division is trash.

I like that the hwy division is wide open... Agreed though that it would be preferable to have the fight skills increased of all involved, but I wouldn’t want a dominant unchallenged alpha to rule the roost. More fun when every fight is unpredictable and a pick ‘em!

It is very poor from a technical standpoint and apart from Wilder and Fury and that big arm-punching ped abuser they all have shocking stamina.

Much rather watch the CWs personally.

There isn't anyone close to a Bowe, Holyfield, Lewis and so forth in that division today its a terrible era

No, you don’t have any idea, that’s my point.
