I'm wondering what Ring and TBRB do with their rankings now. Ring has

    1. Fury
    2. Wilder
    3. Ruiz

    and TBRB has
    1. Ruiz
    2. Fury
    3. Wilder

does this performance drop him to 2-3?

This is the first time I’ve ever seen the division be this competitive and it’s a bad thing.

There isn’t a dominant heavyweight champion and it isn’t because everyone is so good. It’s because no one is that good.

Fury has been overrated. Klitschko was old and Wilder can’t box.

As I just mentioned Wilder can’t box and if anyone goes 12 with him, he’ll lose.

Ortiz is too old. If he wasn’t old he would probably be the dominant champion.

Andy Ruiz is a fat guy.

Anthony Joshua is incredibly limited skill wise. He’s a slightly better boxer than Wilder but he’s basically the same thing. He’s a puncher and that’s it.

Pulev is too old as is Povetkin.

Whyte goes life and death against everyone with a pulse.

Parker is just a decent boxer without a punch

        Kownacki can’t box very well

        Miller is a fat kickboxer.

Who did I miss? I’ll explain why they suck too.
Nawww. The HW division is great right now. There must at least 6 different match ups I'd love to see.

Comparing eras is a waste of time.

If you didn't enjoy Fury vs Wilder and Fury vs Wallin or AJ vs Ruiz, Wilder vs Ortiz, the problem is you, not the division.

There's this impression that it's a really exciting division, and I suppose it is, but not because they're super talented. It's because they're all *meh* and can easily lose.

It's not like the Klitschko era when they dominated and you never felt that excitement that anyone might win.

We have to take what we can get sir. This crop is better than the fighters during Wlad's reign.

Does it actually or are we just saying that because Wlad's retired?

I remember Big Time McCline, Peters, Brewster, Calvin Brock, Fat James Toney, Prime Arreola crying in the ring from an ass whooping after boasting how he eats whatever he wants during the buildup, David Haye's pinky toe, and the rest of those guys pretty well. I was never impressed.

And yet 2-3 people from that list would put Ali or Foreman on the canvas.
