Lol... I know bro. It’s like they tried to spin against Wilder and just ended up reconfirming AJ is completely shook.

Don’t know what they are doing over there at Team Hearn.

Well, he shouldn’t have spit the mouth piece out. Trying to get an extra break

Spitting the mouthpiece out is a timewasting tactic, not an indication of quitting. Coralles did it against Castillo.

People going on about body language when he was in a bad way and beaten up.... what about his actual actions and what he said? he got up off the deck 4 times and said yeah when the ref asked if he wanted to continue.

I can't believe the idea of him quitting is still being discussed.
The weird reason is because he quit. The ref had to follow him to the corner and yell at him to turn around, and had to ask him a number of times if he was ready to fight. When a ref asks you that question, you step forward and present your gloves for them to be wiped, and you look the ref in the eyes. Joshua kept his arms on the ropes and after being asked a few times, he whispered "yes"

He quit. Anyone who has ever boxed knows this.

Ricky Hatton boxed and said it was a dis justice to say Joshua quit so that statement isn’t true.

Sonny Liston quit against Ali in the 1st fight, Duran against Leonard etc.

Like I said Joshua was beaten up and concussed so of course his ‘body language’ wouldn’t be completely on point but he still said he wanted to continue and got himself off the deck 4 times.

For the record I’m not suggesting the ref was wrong to stop the fight, purely talking about whether Joshua quit.

Joshua lost his mouthpiece prior to dropping to one knee with 1:58 to go in the seventh round.

Umm no. He spit it out

AJ knew exactly what was going on - He was desperate to lean on something because he was unstable - and he ignored the ref thinking he would get a pass. Its on video.

AJ has always been this way. That's why Hearn doesn't allow him to talk unless it's in a controlled environment or he does the talking for him.

Now he's in a situation where he must talk outside a controlled environment where he isn't being given softball questions. He has to answer tough questions to explain why the first fight was a fluke and why the second fight will go different.

This guy told the fans to go train to fight Wilder. I've never heard anything like that from a boxer in my life

He didn't quit but he was 100% legit TKO'd.

The idea that the ref was wrong to stop it the moment he did is a wrong idea.

Mentally it doesn't sound like Joshua is ready yet. He's still trying to rationalize his loss with excuses.

Similar to Donaire after he was schooled by Rigondeaux. That was bad.

When you want to continue to fight you listen to the ref put your hands up and step forward not languish with arms d****d over the ropes.... if he would of did simple commands he done after the first three knockdowns the ref would of called timeout to rinse his mouthpiece off and put it back in to continue fight
