canelo is a MW trying to get a title at 175, is this not true ??There’s something’s wrong with you lol.
He went to 168 and won a “title” there’s. He’s listed as the wba regular champion at 168 by every boxing publication.
He also fought at super middleweight before he became middleweight champion.
I’m not saying he’s never been a middleweight, I’m just pointing out that he’s already pretty well established at 168. He fought there less than a year ago, has fought there twice in his last five fights and owns a “title.” 168 is one weight class below 175. It’s a one weight class jump.
until he fails to make 160 he still a mw...Comment

Did I say he's a legit lhw? Please don't put words in my mouth. is he or his he not a belt holder or has he not ever fought at 168? What's the weight division above that? One weight...LHW. When folks say you are moving up two divisions it means you haven't ever fought either of those weights...has he not fought at one of the weights more than once above 160? So again...he's not jumping two weight classes...he's simply moving up to 175. Wording is everything.Comment

So Fielding was a terrible fighter at 168, arguably the weakest champion in the division correct? So he doesn't count, then why are you counting Kovalev now as this monumental achievement since he's the weakest current champ at 175. I'm not saying it's not a challenge, i'm not saying Kovalev is a can, I am saying this ain't the same Kovalev that would've made me say "Damn Canelo really is going in up against the odds something serious" as I would've said a few years ago. I'm sorry but Kovalev has nothing but size and power on Canelo, the guy ain't even the same fighter he was when he fought ward. The fact Canelo even has a chance of winning this fight is tellign AF and people will chalk it up as hate but can't nobody here say with a straight face that when Kovalev was truly still the Krusher before he was a publicly known drunk and assaulting people you would've given Alvarez more than a 5% shot at winning that fight.Well he is because Rocky Fielding is such a terrible fighter he doesn't count as a fight at 168.
Regardless of how many weight classes he's moving up, Canelo deserves a lot of credit when he fights Kovalev. He's like 5'7", maybe 5'8" tops. It's a big risk for him and Kovalev might be past his best, but he still has a lot left in the tank to beat a much smaller Canelo.Comment

did i say you said that?? LMAO... Lets keep it simple, by the end of the year canelo will be a MW with titles at 168 and 175...Did I say he's a legit lhw? you can use the wording as pleases you , but those will be facts...
he is a current MW fighter trying to get a title 2 weight classes above... no technicism can change that acheivement...Comment

Felix Trinidad moved up two weight classes to fight Bernard Hopkins instead of one because he should have been a welterweight even though he unified at 154 and won a title at 160.
Isn’t life fun when you can just make everything up?

titos fight right before hopkins was at 160, so he went from 160 to 168... canelos fight before kova was at 160, 160 to 175... your point will be valid if canelo went to 175 right after he fought fielding, but he went back to 160 to fight jacobs..... he is showing you he can win a title at 160 and then get one at 175 in his very next fight...Comment
