Hahahahaha! Teddy Atlas told him in his face he didn’t beat Pac! Not only the whole Philippines but the whole world especially here in the USA didn’t think Horn beat Pac! Nice try!Comment

I still stand by my opinion that his win over Pac was legit, but even if you don't agree you must at least see that he was competitive in that fight and gave Pacquiao problems when everybody thought it was a severe mismatch and that Manny would knock him out no problem. If nothing else that shows that he had what it took to be competitive at a reasonably high level... at welterweight. Not middleweight. Seriously, his biggest asset was the fact that at welter he was physically strong and could bully opponents, force them on the back foot and rough them up with his brawling skills. He obviously forgot that when he went up in weight and knocked over the ghost of Anthony Mundine who clearly just showed up to collect a cheque. Somehow he figured he'd be viable not just at LMW, but at MW even from that joke of a fight.
What he needs to do is to kick any notion of fighting at higher weights, get back down to WW, and spend some time rebuilding by fighting gatekeeper level opposition - I'm talking guys like Luis Collazo or Samuel Vasquez. From there he can maybe snipe a win against another one of the other washed up guys on his level like Khan or Victor Ortiz, someone who still carries a recognisable name but isn't very good anymore. Win that and then he can maybe consider fighting someone relevant again. He's still fairly young and one of the only relevant boxing names in Australia so he can still bring in enough cash to lure the aforementioned guys in, so there's still at least some hope left for him. Sure, Crawford cut him to ribbons, but that was Crawford. There are still fights out there at WW that he can win so long as he's prepared to rebuild from this ill-advised trip up in weight.Comment

Why is he trying to fight at 160? Seriously?
If he continues, and I feel he will, I hope common sense drops him back down to a more healthy division. Gift decision over Manny or not, who wants another one of those "where are they now" documentaries when we see Horn shuffling along and unable to form full sentences when he is 50 but is living in a damaged, 80 year old body.
Where is his support system? He can make some money off his name for a couple more years, but he is going to end up a Greek Tragedy if continues at MW.Comment

The ref determines what's illegal and allowed. They take points and can DQ fighters altogether. Ref felt Horn was within reason and so did most viewers.
Gutsy performance by BOTH, but Horn edged itComment

That's the same way Duran beat SRL and JCC won his major fights. It's the same way Maidana arguably drew with Floyd in their 1st fight.

Pac was the lineal welterweight champion before the Horn fight, the fact that Horn didn’t become the lineal welterweight champion after his controversial win against Pac says a lot. Teddy Atlas, a well known Pac hater even told Horn in his face he didn’t beat Pac!Comment

But how does that work? He beat the lineal and didn't become the new lineal? Who decided that?Comment

...someone he already beat twice. Then he beat Vargas and lost to Horn. It's a bogus label in this circumstance
And Teddy Atlas says a lot of things...Comment
