You're confused with All Time list vs current P4P. Currently Spence has an edge. Will Spence ever be an ATG like Pac? Doubt it. But Current P4P list is different than ATG list. Current rankings go off of your last few performances.

Why do Americans hate British boxing fans so much? No 1

Brook travelled to America and beat Shawn Porter really, really badly. 117-111 is a totally fair score for that fight.

Porter’s only other loss was against Thurman and it could have been a draw.

P4P list is subjective, I like to base mine on body of work, not just who could beat who now.

            He's not.

According to TBRB (awards the lineal titles), At welterweight, Manny is #1, Spence is #2, Crawford is #3.

Current p4p especially Spence and Crawford, their numbers are bloated up.

Crawford shot up there because of the points he won off Horn who stole it from Manny.

Spence is up there because of the points he garnered from a damaged Kell Brook and an undefeated lightweight Mikey.

I find myself starting like this all the time... maybe to fend off fanboy attacks... I like both guys.

Spence is clearly better at this current time. I cannot imagine a scenario in which Pac beats Spence.

You are making the common mistake of confusing PFP rankings with resume. Rusume is what a boxer has done. PFP is how good you THINK a boxer is based on recent fights. The big majority think Spence would beat Pac now and is a better welterweight now. So Spence is ranked higher than Pac by those who think he would beat Pac. I agree. I think Spence would beat Pac today. You have a right to your own personal pfp list since it is jusst opinion and rarely provable. If you truely believe Pac would beat Spence today then rank Pac higher than Spence. Very few will agree with you. Spence's best wins are KOing Brook and winning every round from Mikey.

Mikey was also a champ at 140 and he beat the hell out of Broner.

No ones suggesting Spences resumes even 1/12 as good as Pacs. Its just maybe h2h now Spence would be favourite to beat pac.
But Pac is so much naturally smaller so youd think pfp pac would still be higher even though Spence might be slightly favoured to beat pac now.
Theres no exact science to it. Maybe they think Pacs been there too long and time for someone else to have a chance

He was ducked by the guy Pacquiao beat, and by Pac himself.

He also didn't lose to Jeff Horn.
