Motorcity be like, “but if friends chip in for the PPV and have a good time is the mismatch really a problem?!”

Clueless. Boxing has not always been a niche sport in the US.

Haymon was not sued by his investors. He was sued by 2 haters who went on to steal his idea after they got discovery and their lawsuits failed

Fox, the broadcaster, as part of their deal wants 4 PPV's a year from PBC. They make more money from PBC PPV'S than they did from the UFC PPV's.

      Clueless.

But for the same price wouldn't you rather have a few mates over to yours, crack a few beers, watch the replay the next day and get another month of content?

Can't wait until DAZN comes to Australia. I'd love it to end Main Event PPVs.
Exactly, if I could sign up for a year in Australia for $99USD I'd do it in a heartbeat. I don't have foxtel so can't get PPV even if I wanted to, and can't get Dazn. This talk of theaters though, why wouldn't you just go to a bar, surely?

Boxing is like cell phones in America.
          1. We get free fights- a vastly better deal than DAZN so I don’t no why brits keep mentioning expensive ass DAZN.
          2. We get premium fights. That can be watched for $20 at the theaters depending on the promoter. Which is what you’d pay for DAZN. So I don’t get what strong suits their arguments have besides them worshipping edward over an app they themselves do not get.
It's weird that "fans" complain about wanting to spend more money for the same product.

It’s weird how DAZN fanboys claimed that it was going to end PPV, but can’t explain how or why the PPV market has been so successful since DAZN launched.

Well if it's true that everyone goes to the theatres and pays $20 I didn't say everyone does it. Read the thread before replying to a random comment in it. The point was we can watch fights for free or go see a ppv at the theater for $20...everything isn't $120 like the brits are making up.

how many people are actually taking that option? Doesn't matter and irrelevant to the point.

As for me, I live in Miami and this isn't a Boxing city. It's a football city. So going to the theaters and watching a fight amongst core fans as those are typically the ones who'll do so is refreshing. The energy in the theater during the Spence v Mikey fight was electric. Sides were **** talking, people were rooting for their guy, and at the end we all laughed at Pacquiao who clearly looked scared when Spence called him out in the ring.

It's even weirder that you think it's the same product. Unless wait- you believe bellator and Ufc are the same product and also believe the NBA and the BBL to be the same product?! Then we have a serious issue here.

I will NEVER understand why some of u idiots support certain networks, n want others to fail. SUPPORT GOOD BOXING!!!

I have dazn, ESPN plus, watch PVC cards, n buy most ppvs.

By year's end, dazn will have put up 3 PPV fights, equivalent to over 200 bucks.

Dazn puts on more fight cards than ESPN or Fox, n MOST are pretty quality. You also get at least 6 fights per card, more than the two or three Fox gives you.

Fans should support quality boxing n to me, if I were to rate them it'd be
                      1. Dazn
                      2. PBC
                      3. Espn
