We do NOT have same opinion of Kov.
Ward beat Kov in rematch straight up. I felt Kov won 1st fight, but it was close.
You fellate eastern euros. I fellate no manComment

Anyone saying that first fight was really even debatable is the one doing the 'fellating' lol...and to act like everything that happened in the 2nd fight was on the up and up...I mean if that's what you want to tell yourself man, go ahead, I won't stop ya...an ending like that, especially after the 1st fight, a real man would have given a 3rd fight right away, especially since it would have sold well.
And I just trust what my eyes tell me...Ward got outboxed 8-4 (being generous) in fight 1...and was getting outboxed about 5-2 in fight 2 before the controversial ending...not every shot was low but some definitely were, and the ones that ended it definitely were.
I think Kov should have handled the tactics better so I don't really give him a pass...but yeah in a neutral setting Ward is possibly DQd there and at least penalized/Kov given time to recover.
Hilarious btw that you think posting gay **** on a public forum is owning someone lol...you had to search for and download that right now to try and 'show me'...or even worse you have that saved on your computer...for what reason I have no idea...well I have an idea but yeah it's disgusting lol.
Enjoy that ban I guess man...I won't be reporting you but I'm sure someone will.Comment

To be honest kov is getting way too much special treatment for the first ward fight. Ward was smaller moving up. How would that be a ath win for kovalov. For ward yes but not kovalov. This special treatment none sense.Comment

I don't think he quite makes all time great but that's just an opinion. There really is no set standard for all time great. I think he is easily in the hall of fame because lots of guys in the hall of fame don't have a record nearly as good as his. All time great is just opinion but it's harder to achieve than the hall of fame. The majority of fans must think you were one of the best fighters ever. That's hard. He has a few good fights left in him. He says 5 more fights. Let's see how he does in those 5 fights.Comment

Ward had already moved up before he fought Kovalev. He said he could no longer make 168 and was not going to try. When he fought Kovalev he was a full light heavyweight at no weight disadvantage. Most fans thought Kovalev won the first fight. The 2nd fight was wrongly stopped and awarded to Ward on a KO after Ward landed a series of very low illegal blows. The ref later admitted he was wrong after watching a replay of the ending. Check the record and you will see Ward was fighting at 175 before he fought Kovalev. It was a light heavyweight vs. a light heavyweight.Comment

Great boxer. He's only 70% of the man he was in the first Andre Ward fight now though, a fight I had him winning 114-113, but 114-113 across the board for Ward was fine to be honest. I think he's 36, but he's a old 36, lifestyle mainly and a few wars. I think Canelo would batter him with body punches and head movement, even at 175. A few years ago, no, but now, yes.Comment

Fighting Ward twice when out of shape, with all the corruption involved, and even going through with the rematch after Ward missed the VADA testing deadline he agreed to in his own contract, really cost Kovalev's on paper legacy.
But if you actually watched the fights, and look at the whole picture, Kovalev is by far the most accomplished, memorable, etc, light heavyweight of this era, he's been basically the main protagonist, the central figure, of the division for the last 7 years, because no one else has consistently fought the best over that time, and he has. He is the best light heavyweight of his era (don't even start with super middleweight Ward, he has zero resume at 175 outside of the Kovalev fights which were bull****). Kovalev is without a doubt the best light heavyweight of this era so far. We'll see what Gvozdyk does after him, Beterbiev, Bivol, etc. This was an epic fight and Yarde proved to be a beast. Rough around the edges yet but a 200 pound fast twitch puncher with fists as big as my head is a hard out for anyone. He looked enhanced to me as well. This was one of Kovalev's most impressive wins, maybe his best, in an evergrowing list. Kovalev has one of the best resumes of anyone this era in any weight class.Comment
