    It was academic from there.
Ward wilted all the way down to the canvas after taking a right hand from Kovalev in their first fight, but the ref didn't stop the fight and gave him a chance to survive the round and regroup.

If Week's eyesight was so bad that he didn't see those punches were clearly below the belt, he should have given Kovalev a count and the same chance to come back that Ward got in the first fight.

After the fight, while standing in Ward's dressing room, Paulie Malagnagi said it was the weirdest stoppage he'd ever seen .. like Weeks was just dying for an excuse to stop it.

If you're Kovalev, you're like great Dre, you just gave my opponent bulletin board material

Well your saying Wards opinion isnt worth noting because he beat Kovalev. But in fact, Ward is talking complete sense in this case. Its just a huge step up in levels, cant remember anyone taking a bigger jump.

If your opponent is bent over like hes getting slammed by Abel Sanchez in the ass then sure it's easy to hit someone a hair low.

Kovalev spent half the Ward rematch crying to the ref, begging for a way out. Dude literally sat on the ropes. This ain't tee ball boy

Any YT dorks seen any of the Kovalev & McGirt training footage by chance. I know I've not seen any pop up on my feed, but that could mean something or mean nothing at all.
It's difficult to say is this really a concern. My russian sources tell me that Kovalev is the boss at camp, he gives the orders to everybody and he trains whatever and whenever he wants.

They're referring to the first Alvarez fight, when Kovalev had other things in mind instead of serious training.

Also most of my sources tell me that Kovalev's punch resistance has gone, which could spell trouble for the russian. I mean, Yarde is inexperienced but he's a wrecking machine, throws a lot of punches and has power in his right hand.
