The numbers aren't static, they fluctuate. There's a lot of churn after Canelo fights.

But let's put it this way. If their numbers were good they'd release them. They released them after the Canelo vs. Jacobs fight and haven't released any yet. ESPN released the plus numbers. Even the Athletic released their numbers.

All these reporters with "sources" yet none of them have the subscriber numbers for DAZN.

The 4+ mil subs was released by the DAZN vice president of North America. Tard.

They did that for the UFC.

        Don't get it twisted
Except they do. 7 years. Or double the length of what pbc has and probably 3x what Gbp and Matchroom have at DAZN.

With showtime on shaky ground. Anyone with any half a$$ business sense can see TR has the most security in the American boxing realm.

Not sure why that bothers fam.

There is no way that dazn only has 500k users worldwide.

They have the rights for the bundesliga in germany. The most popular football (soccer) league over here.

Most friends who are into football have dazn and germany is a football only country. I doubt that out of the whole population less than 500k have dazn.

The report theorized subscriptions for the month based on the monthly revenue. Not total accumulative

Well, I don't know where he gets the $15 dollars from, but for those that purchased the yearly plan, they wouldn't count for the month of July. Then you have those like myself still paying $10 dollars per month.

But it is fair to say however many subscribers they had in May or June, is not the same in July since many could have canceled right after the Canelo/Joshua fights.

So when they say they had 4M subscribers in May? Totally possible, but also possible that number NOW is below 4M.

Not saying it is or not, because I don't know. But to assume they are still at 4M now because they were at 4M in May is wrong.

Of course, boxing is a non-mutha f'n factor in the big picture.

Hardcore fans continue trying to overrate the impact it has on streaming services and in ratings in general.

Joe Rogan didn't even know the reason why Crawford vs Spence can't get made until Crawford told him of the promotional issues. Joe Rogan is at least a casual observer of the sport and watches the big fights and knows the big names....So he is like most of the casuals watching the sport.......Not understanding all the dynamics surrounding it and why the sport is so f'd up.

People complain about being gouged and yet pay for ESPN and ESPN+ just to see all their fights. This along with PPV is 3 different ways you are being *****ed. If boxings revenue models are going to be fixed its going to take some discipline from the fans to support models like DAZN where it is one price. Though I would like to add that most most of ESPN plus subscribers are watching other sports.
